   Carol Ann Willemssen, 69 of Springfield died Monday, March 1, 1999 at St. John's Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Sanborn.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Sandra and Gary Kretsch of North Mankato, Cheryl and Henry Willaby of Springfield, Lisa and Kevin Gramentz of Montrose; son and daughter-in-law Dwight and Judy Willemssen of Sanborn; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister Ethel Schneider of Minneapolis; and a brother Delmar Petersen of New York.
   She was preceded in death by husband Harold in 1986.
   She was born March 11, 1929 in Sleepy Eye to Nels and Ella (Mielke) Petersen. She grew up and attended in school Sleepy Eye. She married Harold Willemssen April 18, 1947 in Sleepy Eye and they made their home in Stately Township, Brown County. They moved to Sanborn in 1981 and she moved to Springfield in 1987 where she worked at Buddenski's Bakery and Gene's Cafe. She was a previous member of Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn and became a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield in 1987.

   Mercedes Mosser, 73, of Madelia died Monday, March 1, 1999 at the Immanuel-St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
