Lisa Katherine Seifert Tamura, 41, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Jan. 19, 2000, of sepsis at Queen's Hospital in Honolulu. Her ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean, and a memorial service was held Jan. 29. A memorial marker will be placed at the New Ulm Municipal Cemetery in the family plot on Easter weekend. She is survived by her mother, Carla Fritsche King of Honolulu, sister, Heidi Seifert of Pollack Pines, Calif.; brother, Steve Seifert and three nieces of South Dakota; uncle, Dr. William Fritsche of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and great uncles and great aunts, Dr. Ted and Lois Fritsche, Harley Schneider, and Myra Dempsey, all of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur (Tony) Seifert, and by her grandparents, Dr. Carl and Florence Fritsche, and Dr. A.V. (Coach) and Lillian Seifert, all of New Ulm. She was born June 1, 1958, in Union Hospital in New Ulm to Arthur (Tony) and Carla (Fritsche) Seifert. She grew up in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, with frequent visits to New Ulm.
