   Charlotte L. McCrea, 91, of 521 S. Washington in New Ulm, died Sunday, March 7, 1999 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.
   Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Sadie Radenbaugh, 94, of St. James, died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at the St. James Health Services Hospital.
   Arrangements are pending with Pease Funeral Home, St. James.

   Grant A. Christensen, 59, of Sleepy Eye, died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at his home of cancer.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Evan with burial in Home Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye and continues one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Judy; mother-in-law, Alice Schultz, sons, Erik and Aaron Christensen, stepsons; Joe Sellner of Minneapolis; Rick Sellner and wife Traci of Mankato, Mitch Sellner, of St. James; stepdaughters Missy and husband Pat Bohnen of Sleepy Eye, Stacy and husband Curt Helget of Sleepy Eye; Jenny and husband Dick Prafke of New Auburn; sisters: Sandra, and husband Herb Schreiner; Kellan, and husband Doug Friton; and Gail Christensen all of Sleepy Eye; and brother, Tom Christensen and wife Colleen of Ramona, Calif., 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his father in 1974, and his mother in 1998.
   He was born on Nov. 28, 1939 to Harlen (Nip) Christensen and Helen MacMaster Christensen of Evan. He grew up in Evan. He graduated from Sleepy Eye Public School in 1957 and enlisted in the United States Navy. He spent his naval career on various destroyers and served in the Cuban crisis and the Vietnam War. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1977 after attaining the rank of Master Chief Machinist Mate. During his military career, he earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Navy Expeditionary Medal, and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. For the next ten years he owned and operated a tugboat fleet out of Dartmouth, Mass. In 1988, he returned to Minnesota. On Aug. 8, 1991, he married Judy Schultz Falk.

   Rev. Edward Pfeifer, 90, of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, March 7, 1999, at Wood Dale Nursing Home, Redwood Falls.
   Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church, Redwood Falls, with burial in the Olivia Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home, Redwood Falls; and continues one hour before services Thursday at the church.
