   Charles Maas, 47, 412 8th Ave. N,, Sartell, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at his home.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Celebration Lutheran Church, Sartell with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sartell.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, Minnesota and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church,
   He is survived by his wife, Theresa, of Sartell; daughter, Kelsey Rae Maas, of Sartell; mother, Doris Maas Grinde and her husband, Vernon Grinde of Tracy; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Madonna Maas of Sartell; and sister and brother-in-law, Becky and James Maas Girard of Maple Grove.
   He was preceded in death by his father in 1976, grandparents and an aunt, Amanda Nererm in 1975.
   He was born Sept. 22, 1952, in Tracy, to Paul and Doris (Halvorson) Maas. He graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1970 and attended Southwest State University and Brown Institute, graduating in 1973, He married Theresa Jean Wech on June 22, 1990 in St. Mary's Church, Tracy. He owned Maas Financial Associates since 1983. He was a member of Celebration Lutheran Church where he was former president of the church council. He served on the Life Underwriters Board and the board of St. John Nursing Home, Springfield.
   Memorials are preferred to Brain Tumor Association, American Cancer Society or Celebration Lutheran Church.
   

   Rose Samuelson, 90, of St. James died Tuesday, March 7, 2000, at St. James Health Services Hospital.
   Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at West Sveadahl Lutheran Church in rural St. James with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today and 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pease Funeral Home in St. James. Visitation continues one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by her husband, Harold; daughter, Leona Nelson and her husband, Ron of Tucson, Ariz.; son, Delbert, and his wife, Marci of St. James; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Knudson and his wife, Myrtle of Madelia and Russell Knudson and his wife, Betty of Fairmont; and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lowell, Earl and Leslie Knudson.
   She was born July 18, 1909, in Albin Township, Brown County, to George and Clara (Samuelson) Knudson. She attended rural school in Brown County. She lived at home and cared for an aunt for several years. She married Harold Samuelson on Aug. 28, 1936, in Oakland, Calif. They farmed in Adrian Township, Watonwan County. In 1984 they retired and moved to St. James. In November 1999, she became a resident of the Pleasant View Nursing Home in St. James. She was an active member of the West Sveadahl Lutheran Church.

   Marion Wiese, 70, of Comfrey, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Immanuel-St. Joseph Hospital, Mankato.
   Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Comfrey.

   Norma G. Hansen, 75, of Las Cruces, New Mexico, formerly of Redwood Falls died on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000. at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.
   A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls with private burial of cremains in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
   Nelson Funeral Home of Redwood Falls handled arrangements.
   She is survived by daughter, Barbara Hansen of Las Cruces, granddaughter, Tosia Kmiec of Tampa, Fla., grand son-in-law, Colin Caspersen of Tampa; sisters, Florence Nelson of Redwood Falls and Lucille McGraw of Litchfield; brother-in-law, Robert McGraw of Litchfield; mother-in-law Leila Kurtz of Redwood Falls; sister-in-law, Lois Armstrong of Topeka, Kanl and two nephews and three nieces.
   She was born on Aug. 5, 1924, in Redwood Falls to Frank and Katherine (McPhee) Dornfield. She worked at the Redwood Gazette many years before retiring to Las Cruces. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

   Erwin Wolle, 88, of St. James, died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, in St. James.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, St. James, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
   He is survived by son, Clifford and wife Eldora of St. James; daughter, Rosella Johnson of St. James; seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and brother, Gordon of rural St. James.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella; son-in-law, Larry Johnson; sister, Alwina Gersch; and brothers, Arnold and Herb.
   He was born July 18, 1911, in Antrim Township, Watonwan County, to John and Margarithe (Karau) Wolle of Lewisville. He attended country school in District 38. He married Marcella Margaret Flatau on July 2, 1934. He farmed in rural St. James and also did custom farm work. He retired in 1968. He moved to Mayberry Apartments in 1990 and moved to Pleasant View Nursing Home in 1998. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, St. James.

   Ruth Peters, 84, of Stillwater, formerly of Madelia and Mountain Lake, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Good Samaritan Village in Stillwater.
   Arrangements are pending with Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia.
