   Lila Wehking, 82, of rural Hector, died Friday March 12, 1999 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Dickinson, N.D.
   Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookfield Township, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector.
   She is survived by her children: Russel Wehking and wife Mary Lou of Bethel, Carol Peterson of Fargo, N.D., Henry Wehking and wife JoAnn of McCammon, Idaho, Janet Sauer and husband Blair of Dickinson, N.D.; 11 grandchildren; five great grandsons, and many other relatives and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd,
   She was born Sept. 8, 1917, the daughter of Rudolph and Annie (Kuld) Buehler. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith, She attended rural school in the Buffalo Lake School District, and graduated from Buffalo Lake High School in 1934.
   Lila was raised on the Buehler farm in Brookfield Township where she resided until her marriage to Floyd Wehking. Floyd and Lila spent their life together on the Wehking Homestead until Floyd's death in 1996.
   Lila was involved with school, community, and church activities.

   Alfred A. Kirschstein, 92 of Springfield, died Friday, March 12,1999 at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
   Services will be 11 a.m., Monday at Springfield United Methodist Church, with burial in the Springfield City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4:30-8 p.m. today and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Monday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Gertie Kirschstein of St. John Lutheran Home; daughters; Fern and husband Walter Meine of Springfield, Rose and husband Ken "Bucky" Lee of Springfield; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Esther Kirschstein of Buffalo Lake and Catherine Kirschstein of Springfield.
   He was preceded in death by brothers, Rudolph, William, Reinholdt, Ervin and Henry Kirschstein.
   He was born Sept. 8, 1906 in Burnstown Twp to Gustav and Alma (Pluegge) Kirschstein. He grew up on a farm a few miles west of Cobden and attended country school. On Oct. 20, 1931 he married Gertrude Sorensen at the Methodist Parsonage in Springfield, The couple made their home on the family farm near Cobden where Alfred farmed until 1938 when they moved into Springfield.
   He was a truck driver for Schultz Stockyards then worked for Potters West Side Auto as a mechanic. In 1962 Alfred and his brother Ervin opened Kirschstein Garage in Clements. Alfred semi-retired in 1967 and worked for Lindley Motors until he retired.
   He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Springfield.

   Jerry Groebner, 37, of 615 N. Broadway, New Ulm, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at his home.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Janice Roiger, 56, of Hutchinson, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at her home.
   Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
   Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 8-9 a.m. Wednesday at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, and one hour prior to services at the church.

   Juel Reinhart, 76, of 2526 South Bridge St., New Ulm, died Saturday, March 13, 1999 at the New Ulm Medical Center.
   Funeral arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Harry Nelson, 79, of Clements, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the Veterans Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral arrangements are pending with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.
