   Mabel C. Neidecker, 86, 513 S. Valley St. in New Ulm died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   A combined Mass of Christian burial for Mabel and her husband, Philip C. Neidecker who died on March 11, 2000, will be 11 a.m. today at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
   Visitation for the couple is 9-10:30 a.m. today at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
   She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Rosella and Lester Wiltscheck, and Joanne Tauer all of New Ulm; three grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Philip Neidecker on March 11, 2000; and sister, Irene Berg.
   She was born March 20, 1913, in Stark Township, Brown County, to Hubert and Anna (nee Soutschka) Zander. She attended country school in Stark Township, Brown County. She married Philip Neidecker on Sept. 26, 1939, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. They farmed in Sigel Township, Brown County, until retiring in 1976 and moving into New Ulm. She worked for Del Monte Foods in Sleepy Eye for four years after her retirement. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society in New Ulm and Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

   Bernice Witte, 91, of Morton died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center in Redwood Falls.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Morton with burial in the Morton City Cemetery.
    Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and will continue on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by children; Ardell Jensen and husband Ray of Redwood Falls, Lyle Witte and wife Joyce of Morton, and Harriet Cornwell and husband Gary of Morton; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Tjaden of Renville; and sister-in-laws, Evelyn Block of Morton and Irene Knudson of Minneapolis.
   She was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son; two brothers; three sisters; one grandson; one foster son and her parents.
   She was born on July11, 1908, in Norfolk Township, Renville County, Minnesota, to Anton and Bertha (Bartz) Block. She attended Morton Schools. On Sept. 26, 1926, she married Raymond Witte in Morton. They lived in rural Olivia and rural Bird Island, and in 1943 moved to Birch Coulee Township where they farmed. After retirement, they moved to Morton. She was a school clerk 15 years in District 19. She worked seven years at the Hwy Cafe in Morton and also at the Mint Cafe in Redwood Falls. She ran the lunch wagon for Rene and Terry Marguth for eight years. She worked at the Morton Nutrition site for six years. She was a member of Zion Ladies Aid, V.F.W. and Morton Lioness Club.

   Harriet Haugen, 80, of Hanska, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Madelia Community Hospital.
   Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. today at Firle Funeral Home in Hanska, and one hour prior to services at the church. The Hanska American Legion Auxiliary will hold a prayer service at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Hanska; daughters, Sharon and husband Arleigh Richardson, Jr. of Cleveland, Charlene and husband Mike Ogle of Melrose, Valline and husband Jim Sellner of Sleepy Eye; son, Cameron Haugen of Hanska; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gladys Hayes and Lorraine Schultz, of St. Peter; nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by a son, Harmon Haugen.
   She was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Linden Township, Brown County to Hans and Sarah (Nundahl) Vegheim. She graduated from Hanska High School. She attended beauty school in Minneapolis. She married Raymond Haugen on Sept. 6, 1939, at Lake Hanska Lutheran Church parsonage. They farmed in Linden Township. She worked for Kraft Foods in New Ulm for nearly 25 years, retiring in 1982. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska. She was a member and past president of the Hanska American Legion Auxiliary.
   

   Alice Valentin, 92, of Clear Lake, Iowa, formerly of Vesta and Lamberton, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center, Mason City, Iowa.
   Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, with burial in the City Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
   Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   She is survived by daughters, Carol of Clear Lake, Iowa, and Annette and husband Robert Remick of Davenport, Fla.; three grandchildren; and nephews and nieces.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Linda Sydow; sister Elrera Larson; and brother Clarence Nelson.
   She was born Jan. 9, 1908, in Walnut, Ill., to John and Annie (Malmberg) Nelson. She graduated from Lamberton High School and attended Normal College. She taught in Redwood County Schools. She married Erich Valentin on May 12, 1932, in Vesta. They farmed near Vesta. After Erich died, she moved to Minneapolis. In 1952 she moved to Clear Lake, Iowa.
