Valoris Burginger, 85, of Lamberton, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Valley View Manor, Lamberton. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church, Lamberton, with burial in the City Cemetery, Sanborn. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. She is survived by her husband, Wilfred; daughters, Nancy and husband Leroy Harnack of Revere, and Bonnie Foudray of North Mankato; son Roger and wife Mary Jo Burginger of Sanborn; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; brother, Ralph and wife Gloria Moody of Sanborn; and brothers-in-law, Earvin and wife Ora Burginger of Story City, Iowa, Roman and wife Betty Burginger of Santa Maria, Calif., and Norbert and wife Dorothy Burginger of Faribault. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was born July 3, 1914, in Springfield, to Elles and Theresa (Schnobrich) Moody. She attended Sanborn High School and New Ulm Normal School. She taught country school for five years and taught in North Redwood for one year. She married Wilfred Burginger on Feb. 22, 1938 in Stately Township, Brown County. The couple lived in Sanborn. She worked with Sanborn Schools. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sanborn, Stately Extension Group, Ladies Aid of Christ Lutheran and Zion Lutheran and the Springfield Flower Club. Selma Brackelsberg, 97, of Madelia, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at Luther Memorial Home, Madelia. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madelia, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday at Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia. Malcolm Broderius, 66, of Hector, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Hutchinson Area Health Care. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hector, with burial in the City Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Hughes Funeral Home, Hector, and will continue one hour prior to services Saturday at the church. LaDonna T. Sweetman, 64, of Aberdeen, S.D., died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, at ManorCare Health Services, Aberdeen. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Aberdeen, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and 8-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schriver's Memorial Mortuary, Aberdeen. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Friday followed by a rosary at the mortuary. She is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughters, Julie and husband Ted Stessman, Paula and husband Kevin Drusch, and Susan and husband Dale Kovar, all of Omaha, Neb.; sons, Michael of Tulsa, Okla., Timothy and wife Ronda of Fort Pierre, S.D., Mark and wife Jill of Pierre, and Thomas and wife Allison of White Bear Lake; and 11 grandchildren. She was born Dec. 20, 1935, in New Ulm to Leonard and Viola (Meidl) Kloeckl. She attended Holy Trinity Parochial School and graduated from Holy Trinity High School. She graduated from St. Cloud School of Nursing in 1956. She married Patrick Sweetman on Oct. 6, 1956, in New Ulm. They lived in Aberdeen, where she worked at ManorCare Health Services. She was also a nursing instructor at Presentation College. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Altar Society and Birthright. Anna M. Goblirsch, 99, of Morgan, formerly of rural Redwood Falls died on Wednesday, March 15, 2000, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with a prayer service at 7 p.m. followed by a C.C.W. rosary; and continues Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church. She is survived by sons, Herbert Goblirsch and wife Bertha of Redwood Falls, John Goblirsch and wife Bernice of Redwood Falls; four grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Wenzel; son, Vernon; daughter, Marion; grandson Ronald; three brothers and two sisters. She was born on July 1, 1900. in New Avon Township, Redwood County, to George and Margret (Schottenbauer) Schwab. She attended rural District 101 school. On Feb. 18, 1919, she married Wenzel Goblirsch at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Clements. They farmed in New Avon Township, Redwood County. Wenzel died on July 20, 1977. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and C.C.W. She belonged to the Women's Extension group.
