Langholz, 87, of Rochester and formerly of Hutchinson, died Wednesday, March 17, 199, at the Samaritan Bethany Heights in Rochester. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Hutchinson, with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation is 8 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home. Evelyn Brown, 80, of New Ulm, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at Sleepy Eye Care Center. Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm. August Schauer, 100 of Arlington died Thursday, March 18, 1999 at Arlington Good Samaritan Center. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Fenske Funeral Home in Arlington and one hour prior to the service at the church. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Fred and Herman; sisters Annie Nimtz, Bertha Krecklau, Minnie Krecklau, Tillie Krecklau, Lena Scharmer-Franke, Selma Herrmann, Alvina Neuhaus, Ida Diehn. He was born July 6, 1898, in Green Isle Township to John G. and Carolina (Lucht) Schauer. He farmed on the family farm until moving to Arlington. He was a resident of the Arlington Good Samaritan Center since 1994. Elmer W. Orth, 77 of 411 11th South St. died Wednesday, March 17, 1999 at the New Ulm Medical center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church. He is survived by wife Elvera of New Ulm; son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Linda Orth of Madison Lake; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and James Tessien of Mankato; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Selma Resoft of Eyota; sister-in-law, Lucille Orth of Essig; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by daughter, Karen; sister, Esther; and brother, Herbert. He was born Oct. 26, 1921, in New Ulm to William and Bertha (Pidde) Orth. He grew up on the family farm near Essig and attended country school. He married Elvera Kunz, March 17, 1944 in New Ulm. He worked the family farm and also farmed in Hanska. He later worked for American Artstone and worked with the stained glass windows at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm where he was a member. He owned and operated a farm near Lafayette for 30 years, retiring and moving to New Ulm in 1984. Marlene Stumm, 64 of Arlington, formerly of Gaylord, died Tuesday, MArch 15, 1999 at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Services are 3 p.m. Saturday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30 a.m. - 1p.m. Saturday at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord and one hour prior to the service at the church. She is survived by husband, Richard of Arlington; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Raina Stumm of Gaylord, Greg and Margie Stumm of Chaska, Mike and Sharon Stumm of Arlington; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Perry Turbett of Gaylord; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Opal Squier of Gaylord; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Margaret Squier of Mason City, Iowa, Burr and Marvelle Squier of Rudd, Iowa, Wendell and Betty Squier of Nora Springs, Iowa, Gary and LaVonne Squier of Gaylord, Duane and Kim Squier of Hutchinson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Inez Bendickson of Mason City, Shirley and Rod Sell of Nora Springs, Iowa, Bonnie and Bernie Bitzan of Alexandria, Donna Gnasdoskey of Fridley, Phyllis and Les Brundell of Aberdeen, S.D., Sandy and Don Schulte of Gaylord; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by father, George Squier; son, Richard Stumm, Jr.; half-sister, Irene Medlin; and brother, Truman Squier. She was born Jan. 20, 1935 in Floyd, Iowa, to George and Opal (Tibbetts) Squier. She married Richard M. Stumm on April 26, 1953 in the Congregational Church in Alexandria. They lived in the Twin Cities until 1970 when they moved to Arlington. She worked for 3M in Hutchinson. In 1977 they moved to Gaylord, returning to Arlington in 1990. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Agnes OtseaS, 94, of Minneapolis and formerly St. James, died Thursday, March 18, 1999, at Jones-Harrison Residence in Minneapolis. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James. Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are handled by Pease Funeral Home, St. james. She is survived by her daughter Delores Fletcher and husband Kenneth of Minnetonka; son Robert Otsea and wife Betty, formerly of Mankato; brother Helmer Carlson and wife Stella of New Ulm; three grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Norvald in 1986; and brothers, Theodore, Victor and Edwin. She was born June 12, 1904, in West Sveadahl to August and Matilda (Olson) Carlson. She married Norvald Otsea on June 20, 1922 at her home. They farmed on the Otsea farm near Godahl for eight years, then moved in St. James. She was an active member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in St. James and the Martha Circle of Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (WELCA).
