   Becky Sue Fornberg, 45, of Walnut Grove died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D.
   Services will be 1:30 p.m.. Friday, March 28, at the Walnut Grove Public School, with burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Walnut Grove.
   Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Walnut Grove Public School, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service.
   Walnut Grove Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

   Arlo Kuchenbecker, 51, of rural Nicollet died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester.
   Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet with burial in the church cemetery in rural Nicollet.
   Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Thursday.
   Arlo is survived by his wife, Karen Kuchenbecker of rural Nicollet; daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Steven Hoerle of Rochester, Katie and Eric Toft of Eden Prairie, Tammy Kuchenbecker of Mankato; grandchildren, Carolyn Hoerle and Nicholas Hoerle; sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Jeffrey Hutchinson of Austin, Texas; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harlan and Alice Kuchenbecker of Jackson, Neil Kuchenbecker of Alpha, Keith and Susan Kuchenbecker of Dunnell; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
   He was born on April 3, 1951 in Blue Earth to Walter and Lois (Reese) Kuchenbecker. He married Karen Wels on June 15, 1974 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet. After marriage he was employed in the baking industry and most recently was employed at the hilltop Hy-Vee in Mankato. Arlo loved to entertain, fish, play cards, and most of all be with his family. He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet and was a member of the Nicollet Lions Club.

   James K. Newton, 35, of Winthrop, died Monday, March 24, 2003, at his home,
   Memorial services will be Saturday, March 29, at 11 a.m., at Peace Lutheran Church in Winthrop. Burial of ashes will be at a later date.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday; and 7:30-8:30 a.m., Saturday; at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Saturday. There will be a prayer service Friday at 8 p.m., at the funeral chapel.
   

   Ottelia O. Paape, 95, of Redwood Falls, died Monday, March 24, 2003, at Sunwood Good Samaritan Care Center, Redwood Falls.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 28, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Redwood Falls. Burial will be in Morgan City Cemetery.
   Visitation is Friday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
   She was born Nov. 15, 1907, in Morgan to Carl and Wilhelmina (Ott) Paape.
   Arrangements are with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls.

   Myrtle Schroeder, 79, of Evan, formerly of New Ulm, died Monday evening, March 24, 2003, at her home in Evan.
   Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Rev. Thomas Henning officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 to 8 a.m., Thursday at Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   Myrtle Marie Hamann, the daughter of Edwin and Rose (Breu) Hamann, was born January 8, 1924, in Cottonwood Township, Brown County, Minnesota. She spent her youth on the family farm and attended country schools. She was united in marriage to Earl Schroeder on June 18, 1946, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. They made their home in New Ulm where she did housekeeping and worked several years at the former Wear-Well Garment Factory. Myrtle also worked many years in the laundry business for Norge Village, New Ulm Laundry and Jerry's Cleaners. The onset of Alzheimer's Disease initiated her retirement in 1996. That year, Myrtle and Earl moved to Evan. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm.
   Survivors include her husband Earl of Evan; daughters, Rebecca Netzke and her husband Ronald of Evan, Rhonda Dahlgren and her husband Joel of New Ulm; son, Jeffrey Schroeder of Evan; seven grandchildren, Brian Netzke and his wife Ronda of Searles, Todd Netzke and his wife Kara of Red Wing, Jason Netzke and his wife Amy of Sleepy Eye, Steven Netzke and his wife Kari of Waite Park, Randy Netzke and his special friend Colette Wenish of Mankato, Andrew Kitzberger of New Ulm, and Daniel Kitzberger of Duluth; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Delton Hamann and his wife Rosie of Lafayette; sisters, Shirley Forst and her husband Gerald of Gibbon, Betty Jarvis and her husband Gerald of Rochester; brother-in-law, Dennis Schroeder and his wife Grace of Fairmount, Ill.; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents,
   Myrtle was preceded in death by a son-in-law Paul Kitzberger, brother Edwin Hamann and sister Norma Meyer.

   James R. Wellman, 42, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of St. James and Mankato, died Friday, March 21, 2003, in Oro Valley, Ariz.
   Services are 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 29, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Friday, at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato with a prayer service at 7 p.m.; and continues one hour before services at the church.
   He is survived by his parents, Robert and Carolyn Wellman of North Mankato; daughters, Courtney Oliver of Winthrop, Chantel Wellman of Winthrop; brother, Brian Wellman of Goodridge.
   He was born Dec. 11, 1960, in St. James, to Robert and Carolyn (Burghardt) Wellman.
