   Edwin W. Groehler, 95 of Winthrop, died Sunday, March 28, 1999 at Winthrop Good Samaritan Center.
   Services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop with burial in the Winthrop Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-8 a.m. Wednesday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Jim Duvick of Eden Prairie; sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Susan Groehler of Cottage Grove, Bob and Sarajo Groehler of Eagan; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Groehler of Sleepy Eye; sister-in-law, Edna Groehler of Winthrop; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by wife, Gertrude in 1992; grandson, Joseph; brothers Herman, Raymond, Otto, John, George, and Harold; sisters, Sophie, Alma, Lillian, and Clara.
   He was born April 3, 1903 in Transit Township, Sibley County to Otto and Hulda (Bullert) Groehler. He married Gertrude M. Zachow on Aug. 1, 1937, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. They lived in Winthrop. He worked for the Sibley County Highway Department, retiring in 1972. He later worked at Hands, Inc. in Winthrop. He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop.

   Annabelle C. Cahow, 87 of Lake Crystal, formerly of the Rapidan area, died Sunday March 28, 1999 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Lake Crystal Mortuary with burial in Lyra Cemetery, Good Thunder.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the Lake Crystal Mortuary.
   She is survived by her sister Norma Strenge and her husband Dick of Cambria, three nieces, two nephews; and cousins.
   She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984 and a brother.
   She was born Aug. 25, 1911 to Curtis and Carolyn (Trouth) Randall in Perry, Iowa. She attended country school in rural Good Thunder, She married Warren Cahow on Oct. 15, 1930 in Mankato. She and her husband farmed in Rapidan Township. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Garden City.

   Gary L. Gilman, 40 of rural Lake Crystal, died Sunday, March 28 at his home, of cancer
   Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Lake Crystal, with burial in Garden City Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Lake Crystal Mortuary, and one hour before services at church on Wednesday
   He is survived by his wife Margy; children. Patrick Gilman and his wife Melissa Anderson Gilman of Mankato, Megan Gilman and Dominic Gilman both of rural Lake Crystal; parents, Edward and Phyllis Gilman of rural Lake Crystal; sister, Gail Gilman Waldner and her husband Scott Waldner of New Ulm; brothers, Wayne Gilman and his wife Jennifer of Apple Valley, and David Gilman and wife Amanda of Lake Crystal; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
   He was born Nov. 20, 1958 in Mankato to Edward and Phyllis (Weber) Gilman. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School and attended South Central Technical College. He married Margy R. Guinn on Sept. 9, 1978 in Lake Crystal, He farmed and owned Gilman Construction Co. for the past 17 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Crystal.

   Carl F. Brust, 66 of St. Paul, formerly of New Ulm, died Tuesday, March 23, 1999.
   A memorial service was held Friday at Roseville Lutheran Church.
   He is survived by wife, Jane; daughter. Kimberly, both of St. Paul; brother and sister-in-law, John and Dee Burst of Hibbing; nieces, nephews, other relatives.
   He was born Feb., 4, 1933 to Roman and Elsie (Reiser) Burst. He was a 1951 graduate of New Ulm High School. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marine and U.S. Army. He served as chief boiler engineer at the Minnesota Capitol. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.

   Basil Christle, 83, of Brainerd died Monday, March 29, 1999 at home.
   Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Francis Catholic Church, Brainerd, with burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Nicollet.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at Brenny Funeral Home, Baxter, with rosary at 7 p.m.
   He is survived by his wife, Virginia of Brainerd; sons, Allan and wife Jerri of St. James, Thomas and wife Karen of Brainerd, and Terry and wife Pat of Champlin; sisters, Aletha Hanson of Verona, N.D., and Marianne Budahn of Darwin; brothers, Merritt of South St. Paul, and Marvin of Carlsbad, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by daughter, Sandra Lee; four brothers and three sisters.
   He was born Feb. 25, 1916 in Verona, N.D., to Edward and Anna (Burch) Christle. He grew up on the family farm at Verona. He later operated a restaurant in New Ulm and in Truman. He was barber for several years. He was a veteran of World War II. He married Virginia Wentzlaff on Dec. 28, 1946 in Nicollet. They moved to Brainerd in 1967. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, American Legion and VFW.

   Jacob Glanzer, 87, of rural Sanborn, died Sunday, March 28, 1999 at home.
   Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Evangelical Free Church, Windom, with burial in Sanborn Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Anderson-Schmidt Funeral Home, Windom, and will continue from noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
   He is survived by a son, Ivan and wife Joey of rural Sanborn daughter, Carol and husband James Tonak of La Crosse, Wis.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dora Decker of Huron, S.D., Viola Brown of Kensington, and Ann Niece of Huron.
   He was preceded in death by wife Norma in 1992; and son Eugene.
   He was born on Nov. 17, 1911 in Bridgewater, S.D. to Joseph and Anna (Gross) Glanzer. He grew up in Bridgewater and later settled in Springfield, where he married Norma Jahn on July 18, 1936. He was a farmer. He was a member of Windom Evangelical Free Church.
