   Stanley L. 'Stan' Wiltscheck, 75, of 1200 N. Payne in New Ulm died Monday, April 5, 1999, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity with burial in the Catholic Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm veterans organizations.
   Visitation is 4 - 8 p.m. Friday and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. St. John's Court of the Catholic Order of Foresters will pray the rosary at 6:30 p.m., and there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
   He is survived by his sisters, Florence Wiltscheck of Gibbon and Esther Prahl of Searles; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Adeline Wiltscheck of New Ulm; sister-in-law, Marie Wiltscheck of Gibbon and many nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by wife, Elvira in 1995; and brothers Dennis in 1946 and Jerome in 1994.
   He was born March 14, 1924 in Sigel Township, Brown County to Otto and Frances (Berg) Wiltscheck. He attended District 50 school in Milford Township. He served in the United States Navy until 1946 when he moved to Essig where he farmed until 1957. Then he moved to the Gibbon area and continued farming until he retired and moved to New Ulm in 1986. He married Elvira Helget on July 26, 1985, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sleepy Eye. He was a member of American Legion Post 132 in New Ulm and s a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.

   Virgil Koeck, 60, of Franklin Park, Ill., and formerly of New Ulm, died March 10, 1999, in Melrose Park, Ill.
   A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, April 11, at the United Church of Christ, New Ulm.
   He was born Oct. 31, 1938, to Joseph and Meta Koeck. He lived in New Ulm until 1959 when he was discharged from the service and moved to Chicago.

   Patricia McCabe, 53, of Madelia, died Wednesday, April 8, 1999, at Madelia Community Hospital.
   Arrangements are pending with Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia.

   Bertha Rummel, 79, of Springfield, died April 7, 1999 at St. John Lutheran Home, Springfield.
   Services are 1:30 p.m Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield with burial in the Springfield City Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield; and continues one hour before the service at the church.
   She is survived by her husband, Victor Rummel of Springfield; daughter, Carolyn and husband Don Pierce of Fort Calhoun, Nebr.; grandchildren, Brooke and Brent Cemer; brothers, Alven Thorson of Seattle, Wash., and Stanton Thorson of St. Paul.
   She was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, Oliver and Thorfin.
   She was born July 22, 1919, in Milan to Thor and Bertha (Larson) Thorson. She attended Milan Public School, Moorhead State University and graduated from Mankato State University. She taught school for 42 years in Louisburg, Boyd, Milan and Springfield. On Oct. 26, 1957 she married Victor Rummel in Madison. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Springfield; WELCA; Legion Auxiliary, serving as past president; Garden Study Club; SEA, SW Math Teachers Association; St. John's Board of Education; and Springfield Board of Education. She was named Springfield Teacher of the Year in 1984.

   Herbert Hoffmann, 80, died April 6, 1999 at Springfield Municipal Hospital.
   Services are 10 a.m Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church Willow Lake Township, Redwood County with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Sunset Funeral Home in Wabasso and continues Saturday one hour prior to services at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willow Lake Township. There will be a prayer service Friday at 7 p.m. at the Sunset Funeral Home in Wabasso.
   He is survived by his nieces, nephews, and friends in the Wanda, Wabasso and Clements area.
   He was preceded in death by brothers; Walter and Ewald Hoffmann, and his sister Erna Kuehn.
   He was born Sept. 21, 1918 in New Avon Township, Redwood County, to Emil G. and Emma (Baruth) Hoffmann. He lived his entire life in and around New Avon Township. He attended Rowena District No. 8 school. He farmed, raising registered Angus cattle, until retiring in 1988.

   Leonard Potter, 81, 910 12th North, New Ulm died Wednesday, April 7, 1999, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Ludwig W. Fluegge, 79, of Mora, died Wednesday, April 7, 1999.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church in Mora. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Dresser Methven Funeral Home in Mora.
   He is survived by his wife, Delores; a son, Rodney, of Mora; daughters, Carol (Mrs. Dan) Dalzell of Andover, Denise Hanse of Mora, and Barbara (Mrs. John) Skull of Racine, Wis.; sisters, Verna (Mrs. Fran) Krambeer of New Ulm and Minnie (Mrs. Don) Raddatz of Burnsville, and 10 grandchildren.
