Nestande, 89, of Fairfax died Monday, April 12, 1999 at Fairfax Community Home. Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax with burial in the Zion Cemetery in Bandon Township, Renville County. Visitation is one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home of New Ulm is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Roger Olson of San Clemente, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Marion Nestande of Excelsior; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer J. Nestande in 1948; and a brother and sister-in- law, John and Rachel Baldelli. She was born on July 27, 1909 in Hibbing to Dominic and Catherine (Romano) Baldelli. She married Spencer J. Nestande on June 4, 1942 in Northfield. She was a home economics teacher in Fairfax. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax. The family prefers memorials b to St. Andrew's Catholic Church or the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax. Gerald Kodet, 72, of rural Morton, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at his home in Beaver Falls Township. Graveside services are 1 p.m. today at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Henryville Township, Renville County, Minnesota. He is survived by sisters; Frances Goche and husband John of Bancroft, Iowa,Laura Andersen and husband Sal Scalia of Neptune Beach, Fla.; brother Ambrose Kodet and wife Lois of North Mankato; sister-in-law Don's Kodet of Montgomery; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Melvin and Benedict, sister, Lorraine and a brother in infancy. He was born on Jan. 10, 1927, in Beaver Falls Township, Renville County, Minn., to Adolph and Lydia (Senkyr) Kodet. He grew up on a farm in Beaver Falls Township. He graduated from Morton High School. He farmed in Beaver Falls Township. He retired in 1994. Ivan Schultz, 85, of Morgan died on Sunday, April 11, 1999 at Gil-Mor Manor Nursing Home in Morgan. Mass of Christian burial is 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday with a parish prayer service 7 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Morgan; and continues 8-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. He is survived by children Donald and wife Diana of Alexandria and Joleen Voelz and husband Roger of Morgan; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Glenn Schultz of Morgan. He was preceded in death his wife and Vernon and Lester. He was born on Aug. 21, 1913 in Evan to William and Thala (Thorkelson) Schultz. He graduated from Morgan High School in 1932. On Nov. 23, 1943 he married Cyrilla Grausam at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. They farmed south of Morgan until 1950 when they moved into Morgan. He was a bookkeeper for the Morgan Veterinary Clinic. Cyrilla died on May 10, 1977. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Erich Muetzel, 93, of Redwood Falls died on Tuesday, April 13, 1999 at the Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Flora Township, Renville County, with burial in the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens rural Redwood Falls. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls and continues on Friday one hour prior to the service at the church. Erich is survived by children, Twyla Zaske and husband Lowell of Renville, Norma Chatelaine and husband Gene of Inver Grove Heights, Ivan Muetzel and wife Marlene of Cottage Grove and Ramona Breitkreutz and husband Larry of Renville.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Mabel Ballard of Inver Grove Heights; and brother, Gilbert Muetzel and wife Olga of Redwood Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife; grandson, Gregory in 1966; five brothers and six sisters. He was born on Oct. 12, 1905, in Sheridan Township, Redwood County, to Herman and Wilhelmina (Hagen) Muetzel. He attended country school. On Oct. 15, 1937 he married Bertha Kreft at the Vesta parsonage. They farmed near Belview until 1947 when they moved to Flora Township, Renville County where they farmed until 1970 when they retired and moved into Redwood Falls. Bertha died in 1996. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church where he served as church president and treasurer. Ruby Dvorak, 74 of Arlington died Sunday, April 11, 1999 at her son's residence in Brooklyn Park. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at the Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in gaylord and two hours prior to the service at the church. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, William P., Jr and Nancy Scott of Seattle, Wash., Mark and June Scott of Brooklyn Park, Bryan and Felicia Scott of Lakeville; eight grandchildren; brother Robert Muller of Apple Valley. She was preceded in death by husband Miles "Mick" in 1967. She was born July 6, 1924 in Minneapolis to Carl and Helen (Halla) Cedarstrom. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1942. She married William P. Scott, Sr. in 1950. She married Miles "Mick" Dvorak in 1967. She worked for Breezy Point in Brainerd. She also worked as a waitress in Owatonna, Brainerd, and Arlington. She was employed as assistant activities director at the Gaylord Lakeview Home since 1983. She was a member of the Arlington American Legion Auxiliary Scharmer-Berger Post 250; the Republican Party Fund-raising committee; the Gaylord Lakeview Home Auxiliary. She was a counselor with Sibley County Family Planning, and was a parade chair for the Minnesota State Fair Parade. Robert Miller, 94, of New Ulm, died Wednesday, April 14, 199, at Sleepy Eye Care Center. Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.
