Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon with burial in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon and one hour prior to the service at the church. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home of Gibbon is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, June and Marvin Eggersgluess of Glencoe; son and daughter-in-law, VerDell "Dell" and Fava Boeder of Pisgah Forest, N.C.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Elsie Witte of Glencoe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer in 1977; brother Edmond Helwig; sister, Hildegard Micanek. She was born on April 22, 1905 in Wellington Township, Renville County to Louis and Othilly (Meisser) Helwig. She married Elmer Boeder on Oct. 22, 1927 at the Emanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellington Township, Renville County. After marriage they farmed in Moltke Township, Sibley County and later moved into Gibbon. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. Frederick A. "Fritz"Meyer, 63, of Mankato, died Friday, April 16, 1999 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. Services will be1 p.m. Monday at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato with burial in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the church. Memorials may be given to donor's choice. Mankato Mortuary is handling the arrangements. He is survived by his wife Sandra of Mankato, daughters, Deborah Jean Raines of Mankato, Kimberly Ann Wannarka and her husband Joseph of Vernon Center; step-sons Paul T. Meyer and his wife Susan of the United States Army in Germany, Patrick D. Meyer and his wife of Burnsville; 10 grandchildren; parents Arnold and Bernice Meyer of Mankato; brother Pierre "Pete" Meyer and his wife Sharon of San Diego, Calif., sisters Pamela Struessel of Columbia, Mo., Janet Wichmann of Reno, Nev.; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Denis. He was born on April 23, 1935 to F. Arnold and Bernice (Gibbs) Meyer in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1954 and then received his degree in Business Administration from Mankato State University. He served in the U.S. Military Army for 30 years and was Commander of the First Battalion #125 Field Artillery Headquartered out of New Ulm. He was part-owner of Meyer and Sons. He was a member of Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato, VFW #950 and the American Legion Post #11, both of Mankato.
