Online Obituaries Thursday, May 2, 2002 2002 obituaries    2001 obituaries 2000 obituaries    1999 obituaries The Journal Online   Experience New Ulm Click here for today's obituaries    Barbara Kieper, 63, of Sanborn, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at Springfield Medical Center Springfield.    Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sanborn, with burial in Sanborn City Cemetery.    Visitatin will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield, and at the church one hour prior to the service.    She is survived by her husband, Gerry of Sanborn; daughters, Julie Kohlhof of Sanborn, and Owen Cristel Edwards, Ill.; three grandchildren; and sisters, Jan Kramer of Springfield, Sandy Radel of Spicer, and Carolyn King of Lamberton.    She was born in Springfield on Sept. 21, 1938, to Barton and Leone (Pederson) Meyer.
