Annamaria 'Mary' (Mrs. George) Lorincz, 58, of rural Nicollet died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at the St. Peter Community Hospital. Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet with burial in the St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Nicollet. Visitation is 9-11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She is survived by her husband, George Lorincz of rural Nicollet; daughter and son-in-law, Hilda and Mark Trebisovsky of Hilltop, Minn.; brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Maggie Degi of Hungary, Budapest. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was born April 4, 1942, in Cluj, Romania to Andrew and Anna (Balazs) Degi. She married George Lorincz on Aug. 18, 1970, in Rome, Italy. After their marriage they lived in St. Paul and Hugo. They moved to rural Nicollet in 1989, where she worked with her husband in Lorincz Electric. Walter C. Hillesheim, 83, of Wabasso, died Saturdy, May 6, 2000, at his home. Mass of Christian of burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Wabasso with burial in the church cemetery. A parish prayer service followed by a rosary service is at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Arrangements were made with Sunset Funeral Home of Wabasso. He is survived by his wife, Florence; children and their spouses, Arlene and Lynn Bushard of Garfield, Theresa and Darwin Hohenstein of New Ulm, Gerald Hillesheim of Hutchinson, Eugene and Jean Hillesheim of Morton, LaVonne and LeRoy Mathiowetz of Wabasso, David and Lauri Hillesheim of Wabasso, Janet and Gary Jacobs of New Ulm; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roman and Marlee Hillesheim of Sleepy Eye, Linus and Alice Hillesheim of New Ulm; sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Ray Roiger of St. Michael, Bernice and Leo Ludwig of Comfrey, and Bernette and Clifford Schumacher of Sleepy Eye. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He was born Nov. 23, 1916, near Sleepy Eye to Catherine (Goblirsch) and Frank Hillesheim. He attended rural schools. On April 24, 1940, he married Florence Groebner. They lived and farmed in the Wabasso area, retiring in 1980 and moving to Wabasso. He was a member of the St. George Society and Catholic Aid Association. He belonged to the Farm Bureau for 53 years. Louise Hamilton, 99, died Saturday, May 6, 2000, at Springfield Medical Center in Springfield. Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-10 a.m. Wednesday at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. There will be a parish prayer service 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. St. Anne's C.C.W. rosary is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Raphael's Catholic Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by her step-daughter, June and husband Anthony Nesser of Columbia Heights, son-in-law, Walter Tellegen of Sterling, Va., eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Guyen Hamilton; daughter, Mary Lou Tellegen; son G. Eugene Hamilton; stepdaughter, Muriel Sperling; grandson Christopher Tellegen; brothers, Sylvester, John, Joseph Augustin; sisters, Sr. Mildred (Rose) Augustin, Catherine Augustin, Sophia Lang and Dorothy Westrup. She was born Feb. 15, 1901, in Burnstown Township to Joseph B. and Ida (Huiras) Augustin. She attended St. Raphael's Catholic School, and graduated from New Ulm High School in 1917. She graduated from Mankato Teacher College in 1923. She taught school for 40 years in rural schools in Leavenworth, Arco, Maple Lake, Morgan and at St. Raphael's Catholic School in Springfield. On Jan. 25, 1926, she married Guyen F. Hamilton at St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Maple Lake. She was a long-time member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church. She was a member of St. Monica's Court C.O.F. where she served as chief ranger for 25 years and St. Anne's C.C.W. She belonged to Springfield Senior Citizens. She was a Girl Scout leader. She belonged to the Minnesota Education Association and Brown County Retired Teachers Association. She tutored children at the library at St. Raphael's School.
