Private graveside services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2002, at the New Ulm City Cemetery. Arrangements are with Firle Funeral Home of New Ulm. They are survived by their parents; sister Natalie Lough; grandparents, Nadeen Lough of New Ulm, and LeRoy Lough of Houston, Texas; and great-grandmothers, Georgianna Swantz of Brainerd and Ruth Lough of Minneapolis. Rita Hirsch, age 55, of White Bear Lake, died May 9, 2002. She was a 28-year employee of Metronic in clinical research. Rita was preceded in death by parents Joseph and Marcella (Eischen) Hirsch. She is survived by siblings, Thomas (Sharon) of Sleepy Eye, Michael (Jean) of Port Wing, Wis., Clare (Dennis) Bowers of Kaukauna, Wis., John (Eileen) of Sleepy Eye; also survived by nieces and nephews, Daniel (Nikki), Charlotte, Jacob, Gabriel, Aaron, Michael, Paul (Kathryn), John, Theresa (Greg) Mooney, Joseph and Lucy; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian burial will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, 4741 Bald Eagle Ave., White Bear Lake, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Internment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Evelyn H. Lunz, 85, of St. James, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at Pleaseant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2002, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. James, with burial in the Mount Hope Cemtery in St. James. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday. She is survived by her daughters, Ardell Knudson of St. James, and Judy Mickelson of St. James; son Gary Lunz of Mankato; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren; and brother Albert Krueger of Coppell, Texas. Evelyn H. Lunz was born Nov. 11, 1916, in Adrian Township, Watonwan County, to Alfred and Amelia (Sombruski) Krueger. Daniel P. Regnier, 50, of Redwood Falls, died Thursday, May 9, 2002 at his home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2002 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Redwood Falls with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 until services Monday at the church. He is survived by a son, Andy of Redwood Falls; daughters, Tony Hass of Redwood Falls and Nichole Regnier of Redwood Falls; a sister, Patricia Moritz of Redwood Falls; and brothers, Greg of Portland, Ore. and Randy of Maynard. He was born July 2, 1951 in Redwood Falls to Robert and Eunice (Steen) Regnier.
