   Elsie E. Bielke, 96, of Winthrop, died Monday, May 13, 2002, at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Center.
   Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Mountville, Dryden Township, Sibley County, with burial in the High Island Cemetery in New Auburn.
   Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 - 8 a.m. Friday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Friday.
   She is survived by her sons, Marvin Bielke of Glencoe, and Maynard Bielke of New Auburn; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren
   Elsie Elizabeth (Henke) Bielke was born Dec. 23, 1905, in Penn Township, McLeod County, to August and Augusta (Voight) Henke.

   Carl V. Bonderson, 46, of rural Winthrop, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at his home.
   Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Bernadotte Lutheran Church in Bernadotte Township, Nicollet County, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Friday and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Saturday.
   He is survived by his sons, Brett and Billy Bonderson or rural Hastings; daughter Alicia Bonderson of rural Hastings; sisters, Barbara Pettis of Bernadotte, and Betty Pomplun of Arlington; and brothers, John Bonderson of Winthrop, and Lyle Bonderson of Hutchinson.
   Carl Verner Bonderson was born on Nov. 30, 1955, in Gaylord, to Arthur and MayBelle (Lind) Bonderson.

   Nancy Morris, 62, of Mankato, formerly of New Ulm, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at the Oaklawn Health Care Center.
   Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with burial in the Woodland Hills Memorial Park.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Landkamer-Johnson-Boman Funeral Home in Mankato. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday.
   She is survived by her husband Larry Morris; son Jeffery Morris of Mankato; daughter Kelly Staloch of Port Lavaca, Texas; mother Esther Mammenga of New Ulm; brother Donald Mammenga of New Ulm; and seven grandchildren.
   Nancy was born Sept. 11, 1939, in Lisbon, N.D., to Wilbert and Esther (Klein) Mammenga.

    Scott D. Schroeder , 18, of Hancock will be held Friday, May 17, 2002 at 1 p.m., at the Hancock High School in Hancock. Reverend Gregg Bitter will officiate.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today with a Time of Remembrance at 7:30 at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the services at the Hancock High School on Friday.
   Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, rural Hancock.
   Scott Dennis Schroeder, son of Dennis and Karen (Evers) Schroeder, was born January 19, 1984, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, where he was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church. In 1990 he moved with his family to Hancock, and was later confirmed at Bethel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris. Scott received his education in Hancock, and would have graduated with the Hancock High School Class of 2002 on Friday, May 17, 2002.
   Scott enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling and slalom water skiing. He was also very mechanically inclined, and could take apart and fix almost anything he touched. Most of all, Scott loved spending time with his family and friends.
   Scott passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Hancock. He had lived to reach the age of 18 years.
   He is survived by his parents: Dennis and Karen Schroeder of Hancock; three brothers: Ryan Schroeder of Hancock, Dusty (Kim) Schroeder of Willmar and Cory Schroeder of Hancock; grandparents: Claus Evers of Sleepy Eye and Marcella Schroeder of Fairfax, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
   He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mildred Evers and LeRoy Schroeder.
   Serving as pallbearers for the service are Matthew Evers, Steven Schroeder, Corey Bedel, Daniel Evers, Jeremy Brown and Wade Bemmels. Serving as honorary pallbearers for the service are the HHS Class of 2002 and the faculty and staff of the Hancock High School. Phyllis Joos will serve as pianist for the service with Maurine Nelson serving as soloist.
   Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris is in charge of the arrangements.
   

   Joseph F. Schueller , 55, of Brainerd, and formerly of Sleepy Eye, died Monday, May 13, 2002, at his home in Brainerd.
   Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, with burial at a later date in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
   Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. A parish prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   He is survived by his wife Carolyn Schueller of Brainerd; sisters, Marie and husband William R. Weber of Chanhassen, Elaine and husband Patrick Berdan of Burnsville, and Deb and husband Doug Brandl of Sleepy Eye; and brother John and wife Gwen Schueller of Sleepy Eye. Joe is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and and infant brother Robert in 1949.
   Joe was born July 28, 1946, the son of E.A. "Tony" and Leona (Seidl) Schueller. He grew up in Sleepy Eye, graduating from St. Mary's High School in 1964. He attended Mankato State University. After graduating he worked road construction for Minnesota Valley Construction in Granite Falls. He also worked at Arneson Distributing in Sleepy Eye for couple of years. Joe married Carolyn Davis on July 6, 1974, in Deerwood. On Aug. 27, 1976, Joe went to work with the Minnesota State Patrol. He served in the St. Paul, St. Cloud, Mankato, Virginia and Brainerd Districts. He retired on July 31, 2001, after 25 years of service; the last 11 years as captain of the Brainerd District. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, auto racing, pontooning, snowmobiling, German music and spending time with his family and friends.
   Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
