Online Obituaries Monday, May 17, 2004 2004 obituaries    2003 obituaries 2002 obituaries    2001 obituaries 2000 obituaries    1999 obituaries The Journal Online   Experience New Ulm Click here for today's obituaries    Ethel Graff , 94, of Lamberton, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Valley View Manor in Lamberton.    Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.    Elaine Sheets , 88 ,of Comfrey, died on Saturday, May 15, 2004, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.    Visitation will be at St. John Lutheran Home Chapel on Monday, May 17, 2004 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.    Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church - Sanborn, MN on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at 1:30 PM.    The Clergy will be Pastor William Ritchie.    Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.     Elaine Esther, the daughter of Edward and Minnie (Werner) Juhnke was born November 16, 1915 near Sanborn, MN.    She is survived by her children, Donald Steffen of Sanborn; Lois Stadsvold of Starbuck; Carol Wendorff of Maple Lake; Marian Thorston, Jr. of Springfield; Jean Schiller of Comfrey; Ruth Thompson of Clear Lake; and stepdaughter Rita Wolf of Hastings; 29 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.    Esther Uecker , 93, of Gaylord, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Sibley Medical Center in Arlington.    Funeral service is 11 a.m., Thursday, May 20, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery.    Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Wednesday and 9-11 a.m., Thursday at the church.    Arrangements are handled by Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.    She is survived by sisters, Lydia Menzel of Crosby and Betty Hart of Savage; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.    She was born Sept. 5, 1910, in Crow County, to Gust and Bertha (Eschenbacher) Gruenhagen.    Doris Wendt , 80, of Morgan, died Sunday, May 16, 2004, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan.    Arrangements are pending with Nelson-Martin Funeral Services in Morgan.
