Frieda Ulrich , 91, of Hutchinson, died Monday, May 15, at Burns Manor Nursing Horne in Hutchinson.
Services are 1 p.m. today at Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with burial in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Buffalo Lake.
She is survived by sons, Gerald Ulrich and his wife Carol of New Ulm, Dennis Ulrich and his wife Norma of Buffalo Lake, James Ulrich and his wife Monnie of McGregor; daughter, Lucille Wehking and her husband LuVerne of Hutchinson; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Walter Braun and wife Selina of Hutchinson, Elmer Braun of Buffalo Lake, sister-in-law, Gladys Ulrich of Buffalo Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin; brothers, Eric Braun and Alfred Braun; and sister, Viola Grams.
She was born April 13, 1909, in Buffalo Lake, to Max and Martha (Schmidt) Braun. She married Edwin Ulrich on Nov. 7, 1928, at Zion Lutheran Church. Buffalo Lake. They farmed near Buffalo Lake and also owned and operated a small cafe in Buffalo Lake in the late 1940s and early 1950s. They retired and moved into Buffalo Lake in 1960. After her husband's death in 1985, Frieda moved to Park Towers in Hutchinson. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake until moving to Hutchinson, where she joined Faith Lutheran Church.
