Ardella R. Engel , 85, of Arlington, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at the Gaylord Lakeview Home. Services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington. Burial will be in Arlington Public Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Tuesday at Kolden Funeral Home, Arlington, and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the service. She is survived by her husband Herbert of Arlington; children, Reanette of Arlington, Dean of Shakopee and Lindell DuHamel of Hutchinson; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Walter of Courtland and Marlin Krohn of New Ulm. She was born May 10, 1919, in Granby Township, Nicollet County to Fred and Theresa (Enter) Krohn. Joel Keckeisen , 65, of 1430 Heinenhill in New Ulm, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldiers Rest Section with full military honors by the New Ulm veteran organizations. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7:30 - 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. A complete obituary will appear in the Tuesday edition. Norman Ourada , 87, of Wabasso, formerly of Lucan, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 2, in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Tuesday and continue Wednesday one hour prior to services in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan. There will be a parish prayer service Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the church. The Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association of Wabasso is handling the arrangements. Nancy K. (Gafford) Schriefer , 59, of Cottage Grove since 1968. Born on Feb. 22, 1945, in Santa Maria, CA, grew up in New Ulm, Minn. Preceded in death by parents, William and Catherine Gafford of New Ulm; father-in-law, William Schriefer of New Ulm and her daughter, Kristin Leigh of Cottage Grove. Survived by her husband, Donald of Cottage Grove; mother-in-law, Margaret Schriefer of New Ulm, MN; sisters: Mary Gribble of Shoreview, MN, Karen (John) Seifert of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Laura (Kevin) Beranek of St. George, MN; her brother, William (Cindy) Gafford Jr., of Chaska, MN; brother-in-law, Gerald Schriefer of New Ulm; three nephews; six nieces; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and many, many friends. Nancy was a 1968 graduate of Minnesota State University in Mankato and was president of Prism Marketing, Inc. which she founded in 1985. She was the author of "A Message from Sam (Until Forever)." Nancy died on May 29, 2004, in Hastings, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 1, at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8694 80th Street, Cottage Grove. David Spreiter , 68, of Buffalo, and formerly of Hector, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Coon Rapids. Funeral service is 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, at the Buffalo Covenant Church in Buffalo. Visitation is noon until the time of the service at the church. On Wednesday, June 2, there will be a service at 2 p.m. at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector. Visitation is noon until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hector City Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Marjorie, of Buffalo; children: Susan Spreiter of Chicago, Ill., Nancy Johnson of Buffalo, Daniel Spreiter of Luverne, and Jennifer Almquist (David) of Colfax, Wis.; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; brothers: Theodore of Tulsa, Okla. and Stephen (Jo Lynn) of Litchfield. He was born in St. Paul, Minn., on Nov. 20, 1935, to Florence (Mourer) and Leslie L. Spreiter.
