   Jens P. 'Jim' Christensen , 83, of Redwood Falls, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004, at Redwood Area Hospital.
   Services are 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 4, at First United Methodist Church, Redwood Falls. Burial will be in Redwood Falls Cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Thursday, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls and Friday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
   He is survived by his wife, Arlene of Redwood Falls; daughters Carol Mueske of St. Charles, Beverly Hutchinson of Pisgah, Iowa; three grandchildren; brothers, Donald of Morgan and William of Redwood Falls; sisters Alice Dresow of Redwood Falls and Lois Pierson of St. Paul.
   He was born Oct. 31, 1920, in Redwood Falls Township, Redwood County, Minnesota to Nels and Emma (Johnson) Christensen.
   He served in the U.S. Army.

   Robert Laatsch , 86, of Jefferson, Wis., died May 31, 2004, at Countryside Nursing Home.
   Services are 10 a.m., Friday June 4, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
   Friend may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson, and one hour before services Friday at the church.
   He was born on August 31, 1917, on the home farm in Jefferson, to Herman and Lena (Rufenacht) Laatsch.
   He married Herta Grunewald on October 12, 1941, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marshall.
   Bob farmed on the family farm.
   He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1934.
   He was a member of the Jefferson Boosters 4-H and a 4-H leader. He served on the Jefferson School Board. He was past president and one of the founders of the Jefferson Historical Society. He was a charter member of the Cast Iron Implement Seat Collectors Association.
   He is survived by his wife Herta; daughters; Mary (Lynn) Richter of New Ulm, Minn., Carole (Donald) Story of San Dimas, Calif.; Susan (Mark) Anderson of Merrimac. Wis.; sons; John (Cheryl) of Jefferson Thomas (Jana) of Pekin, Ill., David (Kathy) of Beaver Dam, Wis., Daniel (Pamela of Windsor Wis.; grandchildren; Janet Laatsch of Burlington, Angela Richter of Chaska. Sharon Laatsch of Janesville, Jennifer Laatsch of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Diane (Jon) Erdman of Mableton Georgia, Jason Story of California; Alisa (Ben) Brengman of Carver., Minn., Paul Laatsch Beaver Dam, and James Laatsch currently serving in the United States Army; great-granddaughter; Grace Erdman of Georgia; sister-in-law, Phyllis Martens of Stoughton; brother-in-law: Roger (jean) Grunewald of Marshall; any cousins, other relatives and friends
   He is preceded by brother-in-law Lawrence Grunewald.
   The family suggests memorial be directed to St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church or to the School
   

   Clifford H. Senstad , father of Donna (Robert) French and grandfather of Michael (Tammy) French of New Ulm, Mark (Lorrie) French of Lancaster, Wis., and Lisa (Doug) Gaeddert of Elkhart, Ind., passed away on May 30, 2004, at the age of 98 at his home.
   He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Myrtle; three daughters; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, and two sisters.
   Clifford belonged to the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Association Union for over 50 years.
   Memorial service to be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Bloomington, MN, at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 4.
