   Judge Kermit J. Lindmeyer, 83, of Shakopee, died Friday, June 9, 2000 at St. Gertrude's Health Center, Shakopee.
   Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Shakopee, with burial in the Catholic Cemetery, Shakopee.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Cavanaugh-McNearney Funeral Home, Shakopee, with parish prayers 7:30 p.m. Monday.
   He is survived by his wife Margaret; son John and wife Jeanine of Shakopee; niece Isla Holtinger of St. Paul; and several cousins.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Isla.
   He was born July 20, 1916 in New Ulm, to Herman and Anna (Sturm) Lindmeyer. He married Margaret Lutts on Aug. 21, 1948. They lived in Shakopee. He graduated from Mankato State University and William Mitchell College of Law. He practiced law in Shakopee and New Prague as a partner in the firm of Moonan, Sterner, Heinan and Lindmeyer. In 1948, he opened an office in Shakopee with his sister in the firm of Lindmeyer and Lindmeyer. He was named municipal judge of Shakopee in 1969, succeeding his sister. He remained in the position until 1976, when he became judge of Scott County. In 1977, he became First Judicial Judge of Minnesota, where he remained until retiring in 1983. He was a member of the 8th Judicial District Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American Judges Association. He was a charter member of Shakopee Rotary Club, and was a Paul Harris Fellow since 1982. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish, Shakopee.

   Christ H. Hofsommer, 93, of Winthrop, died Saturday, June 10, 2000 at Winthrop Good Samaritan Center.
   Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Faith United Church, Winthrop, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pipestone.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday, and 7:30-8 a.m. Tuesday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Winthrop, and will continue one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.

   Stanley Bushard, 81, 1216 S. Washington St., died Saturday, June 10, 2000 at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
   Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm.
