   Kenneth Leonard, 84, of Nicollet, died Sunday, June 17, 2001 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
   Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nicollet with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Agnes Leonard of Nicollet; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Paul Severson of Sleepy Eye, Mary and Keith Kettner of Nicollet, and Tammejo and Richard Stolt of New Ulm; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Carol Leonard of Hastings, Thomas and Alisa Leonard of Elko, and Steven and Julie Leonard of St. Peter; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Arlene and Jack Miska of Nicollet, Audrey and Joe Schneider of New Ulm; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gerry Leonard of Nicollet, Arlene Stevensen of Madelia, Jim and Shirley Stevensen of New Ulm, Rose and Rich Meurer of Nicollet, Peter Stevensen of Nicollet and Marion Stevensen of Nicollet.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dean Leonard on Feb. 19, 1962; brother, Donald Leonard; and a sister in infancy.
   He was born May 1, 1917, in Groton, S.D., to Guy and Regina (Grommersch) Leonard, He attended country school in South Dakota and in Granby Township, Nicollet County. On Jan. 29, 1941, he married Agnes Stevensen at the Church of the Visitation, Swan Lake. They farmed in Granby and Brighton townships, Nicollet County until they moved in 1980 to Nicollet. From 1975 to 1984 they owned and operated the Leonards Service Station in Nicollet. In the fall of 1985 he started Leonard's Antique Shop in Nicollet. He was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nicollet.
   In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial to donor's choice.

   Rita V. Tritz , 81, of Belle Plaine, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, at Belle Plaine Lutheran Home.
   Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Prairie Church in Belle Plaine with burial in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Belle Plaine.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Tuesday and 8-10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Fenske Funeral Home in Belle Plaine.
   Parish prayers are 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bill Morrison of Belle Plaine; sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Suellyn Tritz of Excelsior and Kenneth and Liz Tritz of Belle Plaine; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,Raymond in 1993; sisters Veronica Trimm and Loretta Meuleners; and brother , Kenneth Bertrang.
   She was born Jan. 28, 1920, in Green Isle Township to Ben and Mary (Meyers) Bertrang. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1938 and attended DeGuile Beauty in Minneapolis for two years. She married Raymond Tritz on Nov. 26, 1942, in Arlington. She worked at Lila's Beauty Shop in Belle Plaine from 1939 to 1945 and at Robert's Golden Rule in St. Paul. She was a teachers aide at Belle Plaine Public School from 1967 to 1986. She was a member of the Belle Plaine V.F.W. Auxiliary, Our Lady of the Prairie C.C.W. and the Catholic Aid Society, holding office in all groups. She was a Cub Scout den mother.
   

    Harold "Buddy" Williams, 75, of Ridgeway on German in New Ulm, died Sunday, July 17, 2001, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.
   Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm.
