Stark, age 65, of Winthrop, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at his residence in Winthrop. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bismarck Township, Sibley County, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop; and continues one hour before services Thursday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel. He is survived by his wife, Edna Stark of Winthrop; daughter Carol Guenther and her husband, Douglas of Lafayette; grandchildren, Courtney and Cody Guenther of Lafayette; brother, Leonard Stark of Winthrop; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Hilmar and Delores Leske of Winthrop; two nephews, two great-nieces and nephews; and cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his: parents; sisters, Ethel Miller and Delores Stark; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Wendland. He was born on Jan. 20, 1934, in Bismarck Township, Sibley County to William and Susanna (Baumgarten) Stark. He attended country school in Bismarck Township and school in Winthrop. He married Edna Wendland on Sept. 25, 1958, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Penn Township, McLeod County. They lived in Winthrop. He was a farmer. He was a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Bismarck Township, where he served on the church council and cemetery board. Ella Windhorn, 100, of 1016 S. Minnesota St., New Ulm, died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Orient Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star Service is 2 p.m. Thursday, at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in New Ulm City Cemetery. Visitation is noon until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Survivors include niece, Claire and her husband Leo Berg of New Ulm; great-nieces, Elizabeth Cooper and her husband Keith of New Ulm, Patricia Osborne and her husband Ken of St. Cloud, and Barbara Appleby and her husband Bill of Maplewood; sisters-in-law, Sophie Windhorn, Hazel and Eleanor Peuser, all of New Ulm. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Windhorn in 1979; brothers, Louis, George, Curt, and Hugo Peuser; and sister, Alice Meinhardt. She was born Feb. 13, 1899, in New Ulm, to George and Barbara (Lindmeyer) Peuser. She attended Holy Trinity School. She married Louis Windhorn on Oct. 24, 1921 at St. Mary's parish house. Her husband was in the neon sign business in New Ulm for many years. Later the couple was active in the importing business. She became a resident of Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan earlier this year. She was a lifelong member of Eastern Star and Turner Hall. Naomi Cashatt, 86, died Monday, June 21, 1999 at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, Iowa. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sanborn United Methodist Church, Sanborn, with burial in the city cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield and will continue Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. She is survived by her husband Don; sons, Dayrle and wife Bonnie of Sanford, Fla. and Robert of Parkersburg, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister Edith and husband Harold Huffman of Eddyville, Iowa; and brother Basil and wife LaVera Foster of Eddyville. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Delores; brother, Hughie; and sister, Vera Smith. She was born Aug. 21, 1912 near Eddyville, Iowa to David Wesley and Mary Minerva (Belzer) Foster. She attended high school at Eddyville. She taught country school. She married Donvon Cashatt on Nov. 29, 1930 in Montezuma, Iowa. After marriage she continued to teach near Parkersburg and Aplington, Iowa. During World War II she worked at a defense plant in Cedar Falls, Iowa. In the early 1950s the couple made their home in Sanborn, while Don worked for the railroad. They built a cottage near McGregor. After retirement they wintered in southern Texas. In 1996 they moved to Parkersburg. In April 1999, she became a resident of Dumont Care Center. She was a member of Sanborn United Methodist Church, a member of Magnolia Chapter 167 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a former member of the New Ulm Gem and Mineral Club. Robert N. "Bob" Swanson, 73, of Winthrop, died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis. Arrangements are pending with Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Winthrop. Agnes M. Lindmeyer, 87, of Minnetonka and formerly of New Ulm died Sunday, June 20, 1999 at her home. A memorial service will be at noon Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is in charge of arrangements. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joleen and Paul Bolin of Payette, Idaho, LaNay Hames and her husband Dick Larsen of Minnetonka, Shirleen and Patrick Doyle of San Diego, Calif., Joyce and David Kral of Oakdale; son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Nancy Lindmeyer of North Mankato; 22 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Erwin and Verna Kories of Yakima, Wash., and Hilary Kories of Bellingham, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry on Sept. 6, 1973; sisters, Delores Hammerschmidt, Caroline Kories; and brothers, Joseph, Leo, Herb, Leander, and Ernie Kories. She was born April 30, 1912 in Swan Lake Township, Nicollet County to Joseph and Carolyn (Hacker) Kories. She attended Swan Lake Township Country School. She married Melvin Lindmeyer on Oct 14, 1933 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. They lived in New Ulm, where she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm, and St. Margaret's Catholic Aid Society. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. Lynnae 'Bud' Luckhardt, 76 of Redwood Falls died Monday, June 21, 1999, at Redwood Falls Hospital. Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls and continues from noon until time of service Thursday. Kulow Funeral Service of Echo is in charge of arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Helen of Redwood Falls, children with their spouses, Lynnette and husband Tom Zilka of Redwood Falls, LaDonna and husband Tom Baumann of New Ulm, Steve and wife Monica Luckhardt of Clements, Kathy and husband Jim Steinbeisser of Olivia, Dean Luckhardt of Morton, Gene and wife Mary Luckhardt of Redwood Fall; daughter-in-law, Marcia Luckhardt of Tracy, 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by sisters, Lorraine Rice of Coon Rapids and Donna Hensch and husband Merlin of Coon Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Joan; and son Bill. He was born May 22, 1923 near Springfield to William and Martha (Arndt) Luckhardt He attended country school and worked as a farm hand. On Sept. 4, 1945 he married Helen Zuhlsdorf at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. They farmed near Springfield, Clements and Wabasso. In 1975, they retired from farming and moved to Redwood Falls. His hobbies included making carriages and wagons. Ray Eigen, 81, of Comfrey, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Fairview-Southdale Hospital in Edina. Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Comfrey. Richard Beech, 75, of Sleepy Eye died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital. Services are 1:30 p.m. Friday at Union Congregational UCC in Sleepy Eye with burial in Home Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye, and continues one hour before services Friday at the church.
