   Sarah Lucas, age 93, of Redwood Falls and formerly of Winthrop, died Thursday, June 24, 1999, at the Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls.
   Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Zion Lutheran Church in Winthrop with burial in the Winthrop Cemetery.
   Visitation will be 5 - 8 p.m. Monday and 7:30 - 8 a. m. Tuesday at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop and one hour prior to the service at the church.

   Dorene Ruth Rucks, 47, of Henderson, died Friday, June 25, 1999 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Isle with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the church. The Fenske Funeral Home of Arlington is handling the arrangements.
   She is survived by her husband, Maynard Rucks of Henderson; mother Dorothy Panning of Norwood; daughter and son-in-law, Robyn and Landis Woods of Kasota; brother and sister-in-law, Fredrich and Colleen Buck of Bloomington; two grandchildren, Alecia and Logan Woods.
   She was preceded in death by her father, son, Jeffrey Rucks, and brother Arthur in infancy.
   She was born in Green Isle, March 25, 1942 to William and Dorothea (Pautsch) Buck. She was a 1960 graduate of Arlington-Green Isle High School. On Aug. 17, 1962, she married Maynard Rucks at Green Isle. She was a rural carrier for the U.S. Post Office. She was also a waitress for 27 years. She served as an organist for St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she was amember. She was also a member of the King 70 band for 28 years. She was an active member in the Lions organization. She was on the Lion's District Cabinet for three years and helped form two new Lions Clubs in Arlington and Winnebago. She received the Hellen Keller for Sight Award in 1995.

   Arthur J. Kieper, 95, of Sleepy Eye, died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Gil-Mor Manor, Morgan.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Springfield, with burial in Home Cemetery, Sleepy Eye.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-9 a.m. Monday at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, and at the church Monday one hour prior to the service.
   Survivors include a daughter, Gloria and husband Galen Engholm of Sleepy Eye; a son, Robert and wife Nancy Stark of Costa Mesa, Calif.; five grandchildren, Gary Stark, Shari Yekaldo, Keith Engholm, Troy Engholm, and LeRoy Engholm; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Erna Kieper of Springfield.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Elsie in 1984, and brothers, Albert and Reinhold.
   He was born March 24, 1904, in Brookville Township, Redwood County, to August and Katherine (Polzin) Kieper. He attended country schools in Burnstown Township, and farmed in Brookville and Paxton Townships. On Nov. 25, 1950, he married Elsie Engelking Stark in Sioux Falls, S.D. The couple continued to farm until 1966, when they retired and moved into Morgan, living there until 1971, when they moved to Sleepy Eye. Art became a resident at Gil-Mor Manor in March 1999. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Springfield.

   Marie Timm, 84, of Arlington, died Thursday, June 24, 1999 at her home in Arlington.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington with burial in the Arlington Public Cemetery.
   Visitation will be Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Fenske Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by sisters: Alvina Woehler of Gaylord, Emilie Severin of Gaylord and Meta Fritsch of Greendale, Wis.; nieces and nephews and cousins.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Orrie in 1977, brothers: Gottlieb, Jr., John, David and Walter Herber; sisters, Pauline Bauer and Irene Tessmer.
   She was born in Sheboygan, Wis., March 23, 1915 to Gottlieb and Elizabeth (Kober) Herber. She married Orrie Timm Jan. 16, 1938 at the Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage in Gaylord. They farmed east of Arlington for 10 years, then moved to Arlington. She was employed at H.C. Noack for 20 years, and Crystal Foods at Gaylord for 14 years.
   Memorials preferred to St. Paul redecorating project.

   Raymond G. Luepke, 83 of Route 2 Courtland, died Thursday June 24, 1999 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
   Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Courtland Township, Nicollet County.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30- 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Amelia of rural Courtland; sisters and brother-in-law, Ardella and Wilford Maas of Nicollet, Hildegard Luepke of New Ulm, and Alice Groehler of Winthrop; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Joyce Luepke of Courtland; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Edna Bode an Verna Bode.
   Raymond G. Luepke was born Jan. 3, 1916 in Brighton Township, Nicollet County to Frank and Selma (nee Rodewald) Luepke. He married Amelia Schaefer Boettger on Sept. 23, 1977 in Fairfax. He farmed in Brighton Township, Nicollet County until 1977 when he retired. After retirement he worked part time for various factories in the area and also helped the couple renting his farmland. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Ulm, and the Farm City Hub Club. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to Redeemer Lutheran Church or to the donors choice.
