   Warren E. Radel, 75, of Wabasso, died Friday, July 2, 1999, at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
   Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wabasso with burial in the church cemetery, Waterbury Township.
   Visitation will be held Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at the church and will continue Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
   He is survived by wife Shirley of Wabasso, eight children and their spouses, David and wife Roseann Radel of Fargo, ND; Dwayne and wife Jane Radel of Forest Lake, Jody and wife Diane Radel of Redwood Falls, Ginger and husband Tom Baune of Willmar, Sherri and husband John Schueller of Wabasso, Tammy and husband Clete Guetter of Wabasso, Chad and wife Melissa Radel of Spicer and Wendy and husband Stan Rohlik of Lucan and 25 grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Vernon Radel of North Mankato and one sister, Marion Wallin of St. Paul.
   He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Rueban and Kenneth and one granddaughter, Kristina Baune.
   He was born on June 30, 1924 in Vail Township, Redwood County to Carl and Molly (Klecker) Radel. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wabasso. He graduated from the Wabasso High School and attended the University of Minnesota Agricultural School in St. Paul. He served in the United States Navy and served in WW II.
   On Dec. 16, 1947 he was married to Shirley Mae Lawrenz at Johnsonville Lutheran Church in Johnsonville Township. They farmed near Wabasso and raised eight children.

   Earnest J. Evenson, 83, of rural Gibbon died Thursday July 1, 1999 at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Care Center in Winthrop.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Fairfax, with burial in the Clear Lake Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery, Severance Township, Sibley County.
   Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at the church, and will continue Tuesday one hour prior to the time of the service at the church. Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Gibbon is in charge of arrangements.
   He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Donna and David Foss of rural Plato; a son and daughter in law, Loren and Peggy Evenson of rural Gibbon; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; a sister Emma Halvorson of the Winthrop Good Samaritan Care Center in Winthrop.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Valeria, on March 3, 1984; an infant granddaughter, Sara Evenson on Nov. 24, 1972; four brothers and a sister in infancy; brothers Raymond, Chester, and Lloyd Evenson.
   He was born March 18, 1916 in Severance Township, Sibley County to Theodore and Elisa (Dahl) Evenson. He attended Severance Township Country School.
   He married Valeria Ruschmeyer on June 29, 1947 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Moltke Township, Sibley County. He farmed all his life in the Gibbon area. He resided at the Winthrop Good Samaritan Care Center since April of this year. He was a World War II veteran.
   He was a member of the Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Fairfax, and a member of the former Gibbon American Legion Club, and the Fairfax VFW Post # 4078.

   Robert C. Friederich, 63, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, died Friday, July 2, 1999, at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spirit Lake, with burial at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm.
   The Turner Funeral Home of Spirit Lake is handling the service arrangements.

   Roger William Wells, 59, of Victoria, formerly of Lamberton, died Friday, July 2, 1999 at the Veterans Administration Hospital.
   Services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lamberton with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday and 7:30-11 a.m. Tuesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.
   Visitation will also continue for one hour prior to the church service Tuesday.
   He is survived by his wife Donna Wells, of Victoria, children: Jody and husband Mitchel Haas of Racine, Wis., Randy and wife Tina Wells of Abilene, Kan., Julie and husband Jay Tolley of Abilene, Gina Morgan of Abilene, and Derrick Wells of Racine; step-daughter, Linda Pequin of Andover, 12 grandchildren, brothers, Dermont and wife Bonnie Wells of Springfield, Jim and wife Dorothy Wells of Springfield, sisters: Joyce and husband Tim Monahan of Las Vegas, Nev., Janice and husband Andy DeBlieck of Clovis, Calif., and Vickie and Rick Ourada of Walnut Grove.
   He was born on Aug. 6, 1939 in Lamberton to Raymond W. and Selma L. (Benson) Wells. He served in the United States Navy from 19561960, serving aboard the U.S. Bon Homme Richard in the Pacific Theater, in Japan, Korea, India, and was based in San Diego. Roger moved to Abilene, Kan. in 1962 working as a parts man at a Ford Dealership, moving to Nevada in 1986 to work as a maintainence man at a casino. He then moved to Springfield in 1991. On Sept. 17, 1993, he married Donna Jean Voss in New Ulm and moved to Victoria.
