   Jon Blanchfield, 54, of St. James died Friday, July 4, 2003 at his home.
   Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.

   Ruth I. Garnhardt, 93, of Redwood Falls died Friday, July 4, 2003 at Wood Dale Nursing Home, Redwood Falls.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at New Avon Methodist Church, New Avon Township, rural Redwood Falls with burial in Crestlawn Gardens, Redwood Falls.
   Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls and Wednesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
   She is survived by sons, Eugene of Clements and Marvin of Redwood Falls; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Irvin Quesenberry of Morgan, Howard of Wabasha and Alvin of Minnetonka; sisters Pearl Rogers of San Mateo, Calif. and Clara Jane Buchanan of Fairfax, Va.
   Ruth Irene Garnhardt was born July 16, 1909 in Prophetstown Township, Whiteside County, Ill. to Newton and Bertha (Royer) Quesenberry.

   Benhard A. Green, 68, of Springfield died Sunday, July 6, 2003 at his home in rural Springfield.
   Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield.

   Frank Kuttner, 88, of Stewart, died Saturday, July 5, 2003 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
   Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at St. Boniface Church in Stewart with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday at Hughes Funeral Home in Stewart and Tuesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
   He is survived by his wife Frances of Stewart; children, Richard of Hutchinson, Barbara Prow of Willmar, Jim of Denver. Colo., Paul of Austin, and Tom of Arlington; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; a brother, George of Stewart.
   He was born April 4, 1915 in Stewart to Charles and Mary (Vetter) Kuttner.

   Donald Lien, 74, of Truman died Wednesday July 2, 2003 at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman.
   Funeral arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.

   Elmer J. Sjogren, 84, of rural Lafayette died Saturday, July 5, 2003 at the Northridge Health Care Center in New Hope.
   Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, at the First Lutheran Church in Lafayette with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to the time of the service at church on Tuesday.
    Elmer is survived by his wife, Elaine of rural Lafayette; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and David Campa of Crystal; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Deanna Sjogren of Lafayette; and grandchildren, Melessa and Curtis Henderson of Shakopee, Eric and Tracy Sievert Sjogren of Lafayette, Jeffrey Campa and Aaron Campa of Crystal. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Myrtle Sjogren on August 11, 1947; a sister, Anna Lund; and a brother, George Sjogren.
   Elmer was born July 23, 1918 in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County to John and Alma Sjogren. He attended Lafayette Public Schools. He married Myrtle Alm on October 20, 1946. After his first wife died during childbirth, he married Elaine Fjell on November 17, 1949 at the First Lutheran Church in Lafayette. Elmer farmed his entire life on the family farm in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County. He was member of the First Lutheran Church in Lafayette where he served on the cemetery board. He had served as an officer and member of the Lafayette Township Board, Lafayette Good Samaritan Home, Nicollet County Planning and Zoning Commission, Region Nine Development Board, Klossner State Bank and the Desert Dawn Mobile Home Park in Mesa, Arizona.
