Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with burial in Christ Lutheran Cemetery in Wanda. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today and 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday at Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton and continues one hour prior to the service at the church. She is survived by son, Darold and his wife Sharon Coulter of Lamberton and grandsons, Chad Coulter of Lamberton, Mark Coulter of Lamberton. She was preceded in death by her husband in March, 1999; sister, Loretta; brothers, Art, Albert, Lawrence; halfsister Olga Clark; and half-brother Walter Otto. She was born Nov. 27, 1912 in Waterbury Township, Redwood County, to John and Helena (Kratzke) Storch. She attended country school in the Wanda area. She married Russell Coulter on Oct. 28, 1942, in Christ Lutheran Church in Wanda. The couple farmed in the Lamberton area. She moved to Valley View Manor in January 1999. She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church in Wanda and amember of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton. G. Louise Hemerick, 88 of Madelia, died July 5, 1999 at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church in Madelia with burial in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia and continues one hour prior to the time of services at the church. She is survived by daughter and her husband, Jeanne and Larry Benzel of Madelia; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Chloe Adams of Texas, Bernice Caley of Mora, Florence Ziegler of Sandstone and Ruth and her husband Archie Kendall of Vernon Center; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1978; stepfather, William Davidson; sisters, Helen Warden and LaVar Christenson; and brother, Marvin Davidson. She was born April 14, 1911, to Edgar and Mary (Brown) Palmer in Lavela, Colo.. She attended school in Woodward, Iowa. She later moved with her family to the rural Good Thunder and Madelia areas. On Feb. 2, 1947 she married Stanley Hemerick in St. James. They lived in Madelia. In 1968, they moved to Fieldon Township, Watonwan County, where they farmed until retiring to Madelia in 1974. She worked as a seamtress in her home. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Madelia, United Methodist Church Women, and Madelia American Legion Auxiliary. Edmund H. Sellner, 90, of Sleepy Eye, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Visitation is 4-8:30 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-10 a.m. Friday at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. There will be a Catholic Aid rosary at 4 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. A complete obituary will be published in a future edition. LeRoy 'Lee' Spiess, 79, of Madelia, died July 6, 1999 at his home. Arrangements are pending with the Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia. Irene A. Ondrachek, 85, of Glencoe, died July 6, 1999 at Glencoe Long Term Care Unit. Services are 11 a.m. at First Congregational Church of Glencoe with burial at 2 p.m. in New Ulm City Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m today and 8-9 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel, Glencoe. and continues one hour before the service at the church. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Armin and Vivian Altmann of Lafayette. A full notice will appear in a later edition. Robert Friederich, 63 of Spirit Lake, Iowa, died July 2, 1999 at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake. Services were held July 6, 1999 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spirit Lake. He is survived by his children, Susanne Randolph of Brookston, Ind.; Julie Poppe of Lafayette, Ind.; Steven Friederich of Iowa Falls, Iowa; Nancy Hilpipre of Webster City, Iowa; Barbara Norem of Ocheyedan, Iowa, and Beth Whelan of Vine Grove, Ky.; eight grandchildren; brother, Eugene Friederich of LeMars, Iowa; sisters, Rosalie DeVoll of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Kathleen Hempel of New Ulm. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Jack, Bernard, Danny Dean and Willard Jr. He was born on May 3, 1936 to Willard and Mary (Callanan) Friederich in New Ulm. He graduated from high school in New Ulm. He served in the United States Army He married Marjorie Schumacher on Aug. 11, 1955. He worked in the retail and food management business. He owned the Ben Franklin Store and managed the Woolworth's store in Webster City, Iowa. He was a past general manager of the Woolworth's store in Lafayette, Ind. Among the places he lived were Anchorage, Alaska; New Ulm; Duluth; Valley City, N.D.; Grand Forks, N.D., Superior, Wis.; Beloit Wis., and Lafayette, Ind. Most recently he owned and operated the Subway stores in Spirit Lake, Milford and Arnolds Park as well as the Anchor Inn in Arnolds Park in Iowa. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church in Spirit Lake. John Gag, 86, formerly of 923 N. Washington, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, at Laurels Edge Assisted Living Center in Mankato. Arrangements are pending with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Thomas Lippert, 49, of Salt Lake City, Utah and formerly of New Ulm, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999, in Salt Lake City. He is the son of Ray and Myra Lippert of New Ulm. Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm.
