Jon Alan Blanchfield, 54, of St. James, died Friday, July 4, 2003, at his home. Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sturm Funeral Home of St. James. David Boeck, 59, of Madelia, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Salem Lutheran Church in Madelia, with burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation is hour prior to service at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with Pilgrim Funeral Home in Madelia. He is survived by his mother Esther Boeck of Madelia; and brother Larry Boeck of Fort Collins, Colo. He was born Aug. 16, 1943, to Anton and Esther (Gens) Boeck in Willow Creek. Benhard Green, 68, of rural Springfield, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, at his home. Visitation is 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, at Sturm Funeral Home, Springfield. Burial will be Wednesday at noon at the Springfield City Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, LeAnn Miller of Worthington; one grandson; brothers, Bruce Green of Sanborn and James Green of Iron. Benhard Albert Green was born Sept. 4, 1934, in Springfield to Golden and Lillian (Sydow) Green. He served in the U.S. Air Force on from Dec.12, 1951 to Dec. 5, 1955. Erma H. Laesch, 68, of rural Winthrop, died Monday, July 7, 2003 at the Glencoe Regional Health Services. Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Delores Olson, 84, of Hector, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 11, at the United Methodist Church in Hector, with burial in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in St. Paul. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with the Raymond D. Hughes Funeral Home in Hector. Loren Zihlke, 52, of Dubuque, Iowa, formerly of New Ulm, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, in Dubuque. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Dubuque. Loren is survived by his mother Irene Zihlke of Apache Junction, Ariz; wife Cheri Zihlke of Dubuque, Iowa; sons, Jeff and Jamie Zihlke of Dubuque, Iowa; and sisters, Linda Kehn of New Ulm; and LeAnn Martens of Apache, Ariz. Loren Zihlke was born March 7, 1951, to Irene and Emil Zihlke.
