   Dorothy Holm , 70, of rural Sleepy Eye died Saturday, July 7, 2001, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.
   Mass of Christian burial will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.
   The family will receive relatives and friends from 3-8:30 p.m. Wednesday and on Thursday from 7:30-9 a.m. at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home. The Christian Mothers Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Cathedral, and there will be a rosary by the St. Elizabeth Catholic Aid Society at 3 p.m. and a parish prayer service at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her husband, Richard H. Holm, of rural Sleepy Eye; daughter, Connie Grams and her husband, Douglas A. Grams of New Ulm; sons, Richard P. Holm of Kent, Wash., Larry E. Holm and his wife, Vickie Holm of New Ulm, and Alan D. Holm and his wife, Janet Holm of rural Sleepy Eye; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sister, Carol Schneider and her husband, Francis "Skip" Schneider of New Ulm.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Agnes Soukup, and by a brother, Richard Soukup in infancy.
   She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in New Ulm to Victor and Agnes (Berg) Soukup. She attended the Holy Trinity Catholic Schools in New Ulm. On Oct. 7, 1950, she married Richard H. Holm at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. They farmed her family farm. She became a resident of the St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield in April 2001. She did volunteer work at Divine Providence Home in Sleepy Eye and MRCI in New Ulm. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, Christian Mothers Society and St. Elizabeth Catholic Aid Society.
    In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the donor's choice.

   Helen Kopischke, 91, of Morgan, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital.
   Arrangements are pending with Nelson-Martin Funeral Home, Morgan.

   Alma Compart, 91, formerly of Nicollet, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at the Grandview Good Samaritan Center in St. Peter.
   Arrangements are pending with the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet.
