   Aljean Peterson, 62 of Winthrop, formerly of Gaylord died Friday, July 9, 1999 at the Glencoe Area Health Center.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord and one hour prior to the service at the church.

   Diane Gibbs-Larsen, 53 of Redwood Falls, Lower Sioux Community died Thursday, July 8, 1999 at her home.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the St. Cornelias Episcopal Church on the Lower Sioux Comunity with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4 p.m. Friday until the service Saturday at the Social Hall adjoining the church. Sunset Funeral Home in Echo is handling funeral arrangements.
   She is survived by daughters and son-in-law Tammy LaTurco and friend Larry Pitzl, Jr. of Wabasso, Terri Ann and John Lewandowski of Fairfield, Conn.; sons and daughter-in-law Gary LaTurco and Anne Blais, David Amaral-Larsen all of Redwood Falls; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law Dennis and Coleen Lothert of Morton, Chuck and Bev Larsen of Pine Ridge, S.D., Donny and Sharon Lothert of Danube, Rick and Sandy Pitts of Minneapolis, Hank and Resa Larsen of Vallejo, Calif., Jens "Chris" and Kimberly Larsen of Hesperia, Calif.; sisters and brothers-in-law Wanda Blue and Jim Day of the Lower Sioux Communtiy, Dodie Day of Minneapolis.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; step-fathers Sylvester Lothert and Smokey Pitts; sister Sandy Lothert Goblirsch; brother Walter Larsen; significant other Michael.
   She was born June 23, 1946 in Morton to Wilbur "Bud" and Bethal (Smith) Larsen. She grew up in the Morton area and attended public school there. She lived in California for a number of years before returning to the Lower Sioux Community in 1989, where she was a Pipe Carrier, a foster parent for a number of the tribe's children, and was active with the Lower Sioux Dance Troupe.
