   Albert R. Johnson, 71, of rural Sleepy, Eye died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye, with burial in Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m.today and 7:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday at Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye, and one hour prior to services at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Alice Mae of Sleepy Eye; children, Sherri Johnson of Sheboygan, Wis., Linda and Patrick Stimpert of Zumbrota, Alan Johnson of Sleepy Eye, Ronnie and Tara Johnson of Albert Lea, Gary Johnson of Sleepy Eye, Ricky Johnson of Sleepy Eye, and Becky Johnson of Sleepy Eye; brother and sister-in-law, Russell and Clarice Johnson of Sanborn; sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Norbert Irlbeck of Browerville; brother-in-law, Roman Pankratz of Springfield; and seven grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy; sister, Adeline Pankratz and infant brother Darold.
   He was born on June 26, 1930, in Prairieville Township, Brown County, to Evald and Hazel (Borchardt) Johnson. After he completed his schooling, he farmed with his father before entering the U.S. Army. He served from July 1953 to May 1955 in Germany. He married Alice Mae Groff on May 18, 1963, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. They farmed in Ortonville and Clinton, and he later worked at the GTA Cargill Elevator and the Ebenhoh Body Shop. He later owned and operated a dairy farm in Prairieville Township for many years.

   Rachel Schieffert, 88, of Sleepy Eye, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at Sleepy Eye Hospital.
   Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.

   Mayme Beckman, 91, of Paynesville, died July 12, 2001, at Koronis Nursing Home in Paynesville.
   Arranagements are pending with Sturm Funeral home, New Ulm.

   Gregory G. Morris, 41, of Hutchinson, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
   Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Washburn McReavy Southeast Chapel in Minneapolis, with a private burial.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services at the chapel.
   He is survived by his wife, Robin; daughters, Angela and Elizabeth; parents, Larry and Nancy; sister, Kelly; brother, Jeff; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Pat Bryan; stepdaughter Carol Eubanks; grandmother, Esther Mammenga, and uncle Don Mammenga.
   He was born on Feb. 9, 1960, in New Ulm. He graduated from Mankato State University and St. Mary's University. He taught tech education at Watertown Mayer and Hutchinson. He was retired from the U. S. Marine Corps.

   Helmut G. Eisen, 78, of Nevis, died Wednesday, July 11, 2001, at Innovis Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
   Services are 2:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Akeley, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery in Nevis.
   Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church.
   He is survived by his wife, Joyce, of Nevis; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Ellen of Flower Mound, Texas, Reiner and Betsy of Apple Valley, Scott and Barb of Louisville, Texas, Kerry and Anne of Corinth, Texas, Willy and Sharon of Louisville, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Hildy Pitcher and Joe of Florence, Ky.; brother and sister-in-law, Kurt and Ella Eisen of New Ulm; and 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
   He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents; a granddaughter and a brother.
   He was born March 2,1923, in Czechoslovakia, to Emil and Barbara (Riess) Eisen. He grew up and attended school in Czechoslovakia. After high school he attended two years of trade school where he studied German sausage making. In 1952 he moved to Sleepy Eye and later to Mankato where he worked at Dunlap meats. In 1964 he moved to Waldorf, where he owned and operated the Eisen Sausage Company. He married Donna Stansbury. She died in 1998. He married Joyce Steinle on June 18, 1999, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Akeley. He trained police dogs and was active at the Canine Training Facility in St. Cloud.
