Schramm, 89 of Gaylord died July 11, 1999, at Gaylord Lakeview Home. Services are 3 p.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord with burial in the Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Fenske Family Funeral Home of Gaylord handled arrangements. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frederick and Marcy Schramm of Plymouth; sister, Agnes Pinske of Brownton and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick in November 1984; daughter, Barbara Schramm; brother, Leonard Doering; and sister, Alma Stockman She was born July 1, 1910, in Dryden Township, Sibley County, to August and Mary (Gruenwald) Doering. She attended school in Gaylord. She married Frederick Schramm on April 18, 1943 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord. She worked in the laundry at the Gaylord Community Hospital for 23 years until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Ladies Aid. She became a resident of the Gaylord Lakeview Home in the mid 1990s. Margaret F. Kreger, 92, of Waconia, formerly of Green Isle died July 12, 1999, at Waconia Good Samaritan Center. Services are 11 a.m. Friday at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Green Isle with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 8- 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fenske Funeral Home in Arlington. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, James and Mary Ann of Green Isle, Thomas and Joan of Darwin, and John and Shirley of Chanhassen; daughters and sons-in- law, Geraldine and Paul Conser of Simi Valley, Calif., and Mary and Richard Caudle of Willets, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 1, 1951; sister, Fern; and three grandchildren. She was born Nov. 3, 1906, in Jessenland Township, Sibley County, to James and Maggie (Schaffer) Tierney. She attended District 43 (Sweeney School) until 7th grade and then transferred to St. Anne's Catholic School in LeSueur. She also attended two years of school in Henderson and graduated from Arlington High School in 1924. She attended Mankato Teachers College and received her teaching certificate. On June 28, 1928 she married Bernard Kreger at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Jessenland Township. She taught in rural schools for three years. After her husband's death she taught 3rd grade in Belle Plaine for 19 years. She graduated from Mankato State in 1959 with a B.S. degree. She retired from teaching in 1972. In 1988 she moved to West View Acres in Waconia. Eleanor Fixsen, 98, of Morgan, died July 12, 1999 at Gil-Mor Manor Nursing Home in Morgan. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Thursday with a CCW Rosary at 5:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8 - 10 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home in Morgan. She is survived by son, Robert and his wife Cleo of Morgan; son-in-law, Louie Forbrook of rural Sleepy Eye; six grandchildren with spouses; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother Wesley and his wife Magel of Minnetonka; and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 2, 1972; daughter, Judith in 1990; brother Clarence and sister Alice. She was born April 20, 1901, in Westbrook to Frank and Frances (Kretsch) Schieffert. She attended St. Michael's School and Morgan Public High School. She worked for her father in his restaurant for nine years. She married Roy L. Fixsen on Nov. 17, 1926. They lived on the Fixsen family farm. They retired in 1956 and moved to Morgan. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, where she participated in choir, St. Anne's Mission Club and St. Anne's Altar Society. She was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary, Extension Club and Senior Citizens Club. She was a resident of Gil-Mor Manor since November 1994 Clifford 'Cliff' Jeske, 84, of 1020 S. Payne, died Tuesday, July 13, 1999, at his home. Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, New Ulm.
