   Clifford 'Cliff' Jeske, 84, of 1020 S. Payne in New Ulm died Tuesday, July 13, 1999 at his home.
   Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with burial in the City Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of the service at the church on Monday.
   He is survived by his wife, Muriel Jeske of New Ulm; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Steve Pringle of rural Nicollet; sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Margo Jeske of Minnetonka and Dennis and Cherry Jeske of rural Hanska; grandchildren, Eric Jeske of Minnetonka, Kristin and Mike Bailey of Mankato, Clifford Pringle of Nicollet, Alyssa Jeske and Cameron Jeske both of Hanska; sister, Loretta Laurence of Oakland, California; brother in law, Willard Leikam of Searles; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wally and Inez Schmiesing, and Sidney and Dorothy Schmiesing, all of rural Hanska.
   He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna Leikam; and an infant granddaughter.
   He was born on Dec. 16, 1914 in Linden Township, Brown County to Herman and Olga (Gutknecht) Jeske. He married Muriel Louise Schmiesing on Feb. 14, 1941 at her home in Lake Hanska Township. They farmed until retiring in 1978 when they moved to New Ulm.
    He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm, Hanska Sportsman's Club, and the Izaak Walton League. He was a former member of the District 53 School Board, Linden Lutheran Church Council, and Hanska Lakeshore Band.

   Emma Rickert, 104, of Brownton died July 14, 1999 at Glencoe Area Health Center.
   Services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Hantge Funeral Chapel in Brownton and one hour prior to the services at church.

   Dorothy Odegard, 48, of Black Hawk, S.D. and formerly of Hanska, died July 13, 1999 at Rapid City Regional Center in Rapid City, S.D.
    Arrangements are pending with the Firle Funeral Home in Hanska.
