Online Obituaries Friday, July 23, 1999 July obits by date  July obits by name June obits by date  June obits by name Click here for today's obituaries     Russell Peris, 61 of Hector died July 21, 1999 at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia.    Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector with burial in the Hector City Cemetery.    Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector, and one hour prior to the service at the church.    He is survived by his wife; sons Brock and Bryan Peris of Hector; mother Mabel Peris of Hector; sister Elaine Dummer of Kenyon; father-in-law Stanley Swanson of Hector; brother-in-law Dwight Swanson of Hector; nieces and nephews.    He was preceeded in death by his father and his mother-in-law, Opal Swanson.    He was born Aug. 2, 1937 in Melville Township, Renville County, to Paul and Mabel (Barnick) Peris. He grew up in Melville Twp. and graduated from Hector High School. He served in the Minnesota National Guard.    He married Kathryn Swanson July 12, 1969 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hector. After their marriage they made their home in Palmyra Township where they farmed together. He served on the St. Paul Lutheran Church Board.    Orda Anderson, 91, died Thursday, July 22, 1999 at Fairmont Hospital.    Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.
