German St., died Friday July 24, 1999 at his home. Funeral arrangements are pending with Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm. Glenn G. Bohnen, 69, of Sleepy Eye died Saturday, July 24, 1999 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eyewith burial in the Veterans memorial Garden at Home Cemetery, Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. A parish prayer service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A complete obituary will appear in a later edition of The Journal. Emil Wallner, 96 of Buffalo Lake died Friday, July 24, 1999 at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are through Hughes Funeral Home in Hector. Leonard E. Anderson, 84, of Trimont, died Saturday July 24, 1999 at the Lutheran Retirement home in Truman. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Trimont with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery in rural Trimont. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont and one hour prior to the service at the church. He is survived by daughter Virginia Carlson and her husband Dennis of rural Trimont; sons, Douglas Anderson of rural Trimont, Bradley Anderson and his wife, Chris of rural Jackson and Bruce Anderson of rural Trimont; six grandchildren; brothers, Walter Anderson and his wife, Hilder of Rochester and Marvin Anderson of rural Trimont; sisters, Ellen Bernhardt, Mildred Ebeling, Theresia Anderson, all of Trimont, Ruth Schafer of rural Trimont, LaVerne Honnette and her husband, Melvin of Sherburn and Arlene Larson of Sherburn; sisters-in-law, Shirley Master and her husband, Ralph of Monroe, Iowa, Arlis Curtis and her husband, George of New Ulm, Evelyn Smith of Napa, California; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Iva Anderson in 1998; sister, Edith Nielson. He was born Oct. 7, 1914 to Andrew and Eva (Lindell) Anderson on the family farm in Cedar Township, Martin County. He received his education in rural school in Cedar. On Jan. 6, 1954 he married Iva Smith at the Baptist Church in Jackson. After their marriage they farmed in Cedar and rural Trimont until 1987 when they moved to Trimont. Anderson became a resident of Lutheran Retirement home in 1999. He attended the Evangelical Covenant Church.
