    Wanita Krohn , 78, of Courtland, died Saturday, July 24, 2004, at her home.
   Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, July 29, at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Thursday.
   Wanita is survived by her husband, Walter A. Krohn of Courtland; daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and John Rist of Courtland and Nancy and Gary Gatchell of Cushing; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jane Krohn of Arlington, Donald and Teresa Krohn of Courtland, and James Krohn of Courtland; eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Krohn of Nicollet; a sister-in-law, Leona Burnett of North Mankato; a brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Ruth Burnett of North Mankato; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marlen and Darlane Krohn of New Ulm, Eleanor Krohn of Rochester, Ruby Krohn of Nicollet; and by many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roger and Raymond Burnett; sisters, Viola Campbell and Gladys Fredrickson; and by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
   Wanita was born on November 24, 1925, in Belgrade Township, Nicollet County, to Harry and Anna (Borchardt) Burnett. She graduated from Mankato High School in 1945. On February 15, 1946, she married Walter A. Krohn at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet. After marriage, they farmed in rural Courtland where she was a wife, mother, and housewife all of her life. Wanita enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a volunteer at Trinity Lutheran School in Nicollet helping children learn to read. She was a member of Nicollet American Legion Auxiliary, Nicollet Senior Citizens Group, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Guild.
   The family prefers memorials to Alzheimer's Association.
