Trebesch, 93, of 1100 1st Avenue South, Apartment #145 in Sleepy Eye, died Friday, July 30, 1999 at the Sleepy Eye Municipal Hospital. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye with burial in Home Cemetery in Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm, and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Monday. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Laurel Beilke, Karen and Rolland Pyan all of Sleepy Eye, Wilma and Charles Krzmarzick of Tucson, Ariz., Eva and Ronald Larrabee of New Mexico, and Waldemar Harmening of Sleepy Eye; sons and daughters-in-law, John Trebesch of Morgan, Harold Trebesch, William and Joan Trebesch, Paul and Susan Trebesch all of Sleepy Eye; 37 grandchildren; 58 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; sisters, Olive Kelly of Sleepy Eye and Florence Trebesch of Peoria, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodor A. Trebesch in 1994; daughters, Delores Jean in 1951, Illa Mae Harmening in 1993; brothers, John Alt in 1989, Richard Alt in 1991, and Harold Alt in 1916; grandaughter, Pamela Beilke in 1982; and six grandchildren in infancy. She was born on Dec. 8, 1905 in Panola Township, Illinois to Louis and Josephine (Pinkham) Alt. She married Theodor August Trebesch on Nov. 23, 1927 at their home in Stark Township, Brown County. After their marriage they farmed together in Eden Township for almost 50 years until retiring and moving to Sleepy Eye in 1976. She spent much of her spare time sewing things for her friends and family. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye, a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, the Garden Club and was a 4-H Leader. Agnes Clobes, 84, of Alexandria, formerly of Fairfax, died Friday, July 30, 1999 at Bethany Home, Alexandria. Services are pending at Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Fairfax. Evelyn Stokes, 67, of Madelia, died Friday at her home in Madelia. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia with the Rev. James Berning officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Monday with a Rosary recited at 4 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. A complete obituary will appear in Monday's edition of The Journal.
