   Donald Bahr, age 70, of Glencoe, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2004, at the Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson.
   Funeral service will be Tuesday, August 3, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hughes Funeral Home in Hector.
   Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday.
   Donald Howard Bahr was born September 29, 1933, in Osceola Township, Renville County, Minnesota, to Herman and Hazel (Musel) Bahr.
   Donald is survived by his sister Doris Bollingmo of Stewart, other relatives and friends.

   James Eyrich, 55, of 412 Seventh South Street, New Ulm, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.
   Private family services will be held at a later date. Schmucker Funeral Service of New Ulm is handling the arrangements. A complete obituary will appear in a later edition of the Journal.

   Elaine Bode, 71, of 1314 North Minnesota Street in New Ulm died Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 4 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Joyce Tollefson Capp officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm and will continue for one hour prior to the time of servie at the church on Wednesday.
   Elaine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Larry Postel of New Ulm; son, Terry Bode of New Ulm; grandchildren, Khanya Bode, Angela Carik and her husband, Mark, Danelle Bode, Elizabeth Bode, Zach Bode, Sara Bode, Larame Postel, and Landon Postel; great grandchildren, Zoe and Ellie Carik, and her dog, Sam. She was preceded in death by her parents.
   Elaine Ella Larson was born on December 23, 1932 in Bernadotte Township, Nicollet County to Harry and Freda (Gieseke) Larson. She lived in New Ulm had worked for Kraft. She had been a secretary for Heritagefest and later worked as an aide in home health care. Elaine enjoyed travelling up north, going to the lake and also going on special trips with each grandchild. She was lovingly known to them as "Grandma Tic Tac". Elaine was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm. She was a loving mother, grandma and friend.
