Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet with burial in the church cemetery rural Nicollet. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet and then will continue on Wednesday for one hour prior to time of service at the church. She is survived by her husband, Harold, a resident at the Mankato House Health Care Center in Mankato a son and daughter-in-law Larry and Mary Voeltz of Nicollet grandsons Alan Voeltz of St. Peter, Daniel Voeltz of Nicollet, and Christopher Voeltz of St. Peter, a great grandson Aaron Voeltz of St. Peter, a sister and brother-in-law Verona and Bill Wilking of North Mankato sisters-in-law Shirlee Enter of Nicollet and Frieda Gregory of Milwaukee, Wisconsin a brother-in-law Richard Smith of Westminster, Calif., one aunt, one uncle, and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents a daughter Beverly Voeltz on Dec. 30, 1987 a sister Mildred Smith a brother Lawrence Enter and a great granddaughter. She was born Nov. 19, 1918 in Granby Township, Nicollet County to Frank and Pauline (Poehler) Enter. She married Harold Voeltz on June 15, 1937 at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet. After marriage they lived in Nicollet where she had done babysitting at her home for 40 years. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet, a member of the Ladies Guild at the church, and a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post #510 in Nicollet. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting, crocheting, babysitting, and fishing. She had been a resident of the nursing home for the past 3 1/2 years. Wilbert H. Buck, 58 of Arlington died Saturday, July 31, 1999 at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's United Church of Christ at Henderson, with burial at Brown Cemetery, Henderson. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the Fenske Funeral Home in Arlington, and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to the service. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Buck of Arlington sons, David and wife Michelle Buck of Arlington, Daniel and wife Sara Buck of Gaylord, and Darrin Buck and fiancee Jane Harder of LeSueur; three grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Adeline Schouviller of Henderson, Evelyn and Monroe Tiegs of Henderson, Darlene and Allen Weckwerth of Arlington, Carol and Lyle Jaster of St. Peter, LaVerne and Mick Almquist of Henderson, Janet and Steve Havemeier of Nicollet, andVal and Lyle Thompson of Nicollet brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter Buck of Henderson, Richard and Cindy Buck of Massachusetts, and Carol Reiter of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his parents brothers-in-law, Orin Schouviller and Robert Reiter, and parents-in-law, Alvin and Ruth Reiter, and niece Krystal Jaster. He was born May 10, 1941 in Green Isle Township, Sibley County to Ernest and Regina (Brockoff) Buck. He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War serving from 1964-1966. On Sept. 9, 1967 he married Ruth Ann Reiter at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Henderson. He was employed as a welder for 40 years, first at Farmhand in Green Isle, and then up to his present illness at Waconia Manufacturing in Waconia. Agnes Clobes, age 84, of Alexandria, formerly of Fairfax, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at the Bethany Home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax, with interment in St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Cairo Township, Renville County. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax, and one hour before the service at the church on Tuesday. She is survived by sons, Franklin and wife Mary Clobes of Springfield, Mo., George and wife Karolee Clobes of Hutchinson, Kan., Howard and wife Carol Clobes of Fairfax, Arnold and wife Carol Clobes of Livermore, Calif., Armin and wife Juanita Clobes of Racine, Wis., Loren and wife Michal Clobes of Fairfax, Don and wife Sue Clobes of Alexandria a daughter, Lila and husband Robert Panek of Manistique, Mich., 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, Brothers, Duain Swenson of Le Sueur, Bill Volk of Sulphur Springs, Texas a sister-in-law, Mabel Clobes, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold brothers, Reuben and Chester a sister, Myrtle Odegard and her sister-in-law, Edna Brunner. She was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Nicollet County, the daughter of August A. and Augusta W. (Schmidt) Volk. She attended schools in Echo, Brownton, and Gibbon. She married Harold Clobes on July 29, 1933 in Fairfax. Following their marriage, Agnes and Harold resided in New Ulm, Marshall, Wadena, and later moved to the family farm near Fairfax. Agnes spent her life as a mother and homemaker. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church In Fairfax. Virgil R. Peterson, 74, of Redwood Falls, died Saturday, July 31, 1999 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home and will continue on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until service time. He is survived by his wife, Betty sons, Lowell and wife LeAnn of Redwood Falls and Steven and wife Stephanie of Mound three grandchildren a brother, Wilton and wife Ethel of Shakopee, and sisters, Elaine Stromvall of Plymouth and Joan Kladifko and husband George of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was born Sept. 24, 1924 in Meeker County, the son of Robert and Hulda (Jordin) Peterson. He resided with his family in Meeker County, attending Litchfield High School and graduating in 1942. He married Betty Lenhard on Oct. 14, 1950 in Litchfield They resided in Litchfield until 1969 when they moved to Redwood Falls. Virgil was in implement and automotive parts sales and owned the NAPA Auto Parts in Redwood Falls until retirement in 1983. He did antique and wicker restoration until 1998. He served during WWII in the Army, serving in the Pacific and Japan. He was past Commander of the Litchfield VFW and a member of the Redwood Falls American Legion. He was a past member of the Redwood Falls Lions and Eagles. Evelyn Stokes, 67, of Madelia, died Friday, July 30, 1999, at her home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today with a Rosary recited at 4 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., all at the Pilgrim Funeral Home, Madelia. Visitation continues Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Survivors include her husband John a son, Allen and and his wife Pam of LaSalle three grandchildren, Jennifer, Robert, and Nichole all of La Salle sisters and their husbands, Clarabelle and Lowell (Bud) Erickson of Washaugal, Wash., Nina and Donald Faber of Trimont, Judy and Jim Conners of Marietta, Ga., Jane and Oscar (Bud) Knaak of Lewisville and Linda and Roger Geistfeld of Truman brothers and their wives, John and Birdella Allen of Trimont and Wilber and Grace Allen of Fridley and a sister-in-law Vivian Allen of Spencer, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Darleen Allen, and a brother Donald. She was born June 23, 1932 to Vernon and Clara (Sherman) Allen on the family farm in Fox Lake Township, Martin County. Evelyn grow up in Martin County and graduated from Trimont High School in 1950. She attended Naeve Nursing School in Albert Lea, graduating in 1951. She married John Stokes on April 25, 1953 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Madelia. They farmed in Blue Earth County until 1959 when they moved to Madelia. She worked as managing cook at St. Mary's Catholic Church for 39 years and also did catering in later years. She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ladies Aid and Madelia Catholic Council of Women. She was a member and past president of the Southern Minnesota Cooks Association.
