   Othelia Caroline "Tuts" Firle, 95 of Fairfax, died Friday, August 6, 1999, at the Fairfax Community Home.
   Services will be Monday, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairfax, with burial in Bethel Cemetery in Cairo Township, Renville County.
   Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-8 a.m. Monday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by her sons: Owen Firle and wife Margie of Minneapolis, Chuck Firle and wife Joyce of Fairfax; daughters, Delores Young of Fairfax and Vernette Kiecker and her husband, Myron of Fairfax; son-in-law, Don Becker of LeSuer; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1972; parents; a son in infancy; daughter Janet Becker; son-in-law LaVern Young; grandchildren Julianne Young, Ross Firle and David Pierce; great-grandchild, Anna Brooks; three brothers; four sisters.
   She was born Feb. 21, 1904 in Buffalo Lake, the daughter of Ole and Caroline (Gunderson) Jenson. She moved to Fairfax, with her family in 1909. She married Albert Firle Sept. 3, 1924. After marriage, they lived in Bird Island and Gibbon, before settling on the home farm site in Cairo Township, Renville County. After Albert's death, she moved to the Golden Oaks Apartments in Fairfax. She entered the Fairfax Community Home in 1987. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Fairfax, where she had served as a past president and various office holder of the United Methodist Women. She had also served the church as a trustee and as the church organist. She was a 4-H leader and member of a home extension group. She belonged to the Kitchen Klatter Band, which performed at the Minnesota State Fair and the State Captiol and she was named Renville County Senior Citizen Queen in the late 1970's.

   Leo Burtzel, 76, of Redwood Falls, died Friday, August 6, 1999 at the Redwood Falls Hospital.
   Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church of Redwood Falls with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be held Monday 4-8 p.m., with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, and Tuesday 8-10 a.m..

   Lyle "Skip" Olson, 72, of Hanska, died Friday, August 6, 1999, at the Madelia Community Hospital.
   Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
   Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 to 12 p.m. Monday at the Firle Funeral Home in Hanska and one hour prior to service at the church.
   He is survived by his sisters, Kathy Erickson and her husband Jerome of Hanska, Karen Haack and her husband Gordon of New Ulm; brothers Gene Olson and his wife Marleta of Porland, Oregon, Larry Olson of Hanska; stepmother, Irene Olson; aunts, Inga Olson of Hanska, Violet Ahlness of Hanska, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
   He is preceded in death by his father, mother; sisters, Ramona Frederickson, Verna Manker; brother-in-law, Leo Fredrickson.
   He was born on Feb. 13, 1927 in Linden Township Minnesota, the son of Benard and Esther (Lemke) Olson. He worked on several farms all his life. He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church.
