Kevin P. Froehlich Arrangements are pending with Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Rose Reiner , 82, of Springfield, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004, at ISJ Hospital in Mankato. Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Jon Ringnell , 39, of Fairmont, died Saturday, August 7, 2004, at his home, Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hanska. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:00 a.m. to the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the donor's choice. A complete obituary will appear in a later edition. Raymond Weise , 82, of 318 12th North St., New Ulm, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 2004 at the Franklin Health Care Center. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Aug. 10, at Schmucker Funeral Service in New Ulm, with Rev. Todd Nelsen officiating. Burial with military honors conducted by Lafayette American Legion Post No. 300 will follow at First Lutheran Cemetery in Lafayette. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Raymond Charles Weise, the son of William and Ann (Wiedl) Weise, was born Dec. 12, 1921, in New Ulm, where he graduated from New Ulm High School in 1939. He entered the Merchant Marines, serving on a ship and traveling the world. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to New Ulm where he married Mayonne Johnson on July 25, 1946. They lived in various areas before settling in St. Peter where he worked for the State Security Hospital for over 17 years, retiring in 1977. In retirement, the couple moved to New Ulm where he continued to keep busy with a variety of jobs. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Survivors included his wife, Mayonne of New Ulm; son, Ronald Weise of Fairmont; daughter, Shelly Busby and her husband Jeffrey of Hudson, Wis.; two grandchildren, Michael Alan Busby and his wife Amanda, Adam Glen Busby; three great-grandchildren, Tyrel Michael Busby, Mianda Mayonne Busby, and Kya Christian Busby, all of Hudson, Wis.; brother, Donald Weise and his wife Doris of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Marlys Tappe and her husband Carl of Hendersonville, N.C., Bette Johnson of Lafayette; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by a son Richard Raymond Weise, who was killed in the Vietnam War, and a brother Roland Weise.
