   Rosella Hanson, 76, of Buffalo Lake, died Saturday, August 7, 1999 at Glencoe Area Health Center.
   Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Stewart, with burial in Oakland cemetery, Hutchinson.
   Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at Hughes Funeral Home, Stewart, and will continue Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church.
   She is survived by her husband, Vernon; daughters, Phyllis Breezee and husband Warren of Chaska and Barb Degn and husband Gary of Hutchinson; son, Bill Sandman and wife Sandy of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Gerrod Breezee, April Sandman, Justen and Makensie Paulsen and Jeremy, Jeff and Jason Deng; brothers, Ivan Alsleben and wife Dorotey of Silver Lake and Earl Alsleben and wife Beverly of Hutchinson; sister Shirley Burmeister and husband Melvin of Hutchinson; sisters-in-law, Mary Alsleben and Elsie Alsleben, both of Hutchinson; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; daughter Jane Sandman; and brothers, Roy, Melvin and James Alsleben.
   She was born June 24, 1923 in Penn Township, Brownton, to Charles and Ella (Winter) Alsleben. She grew up in the Sibley area and north of Lake Marion. She married William Sandman on December 29, 1942. He died March 4, 1966. She lived and worked in Hutchinson until 1973. She married Vernon Hanson on June 30, 1973 in Stewart. The couple lived and farmed in Grafton Township. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Stewart.

   Marian Vandrey, 85, 129 Bianchi Drive, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999 at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ, New Ulm, with burial in the city cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday at Firle Funeral Home, New Ulm, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

   Viola Ruff, 87, or Arlington, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999 at Arlington Municipal Hospital.
   Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Arlington, with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Fenske Funeral Home, Arlington, and will continue Thursday one hour prior to services at the church.
   She is survived by her son, Warren Hell of Arlington; sister, Adella Chevalier of Le Sueur; granddaughter Laura and husband Domini Wiles of Burnsville; great-grandson Parker Wiles; step granddaughters, Chimene and Stacey Spike; stepgreat-grandson Jerrad Spike; and nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ezra Hell on Jan. 8, 1941; and husband Fred Ruff on March 30, 1990.
   She was born Feb. 20, 1912 in Lanesburg Township, LeSueur County, near New Prague, to Reinhold and Elizabeth (Thies) Kutz. Her family moved to the Arlington area. She married Ezra hell on Oct. 25, 1936. She married Fred Ruff on May 22, 1946.
