   Marian (Beecher) Vandrey, 85 of New Ulm, died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, at New Ulm Medical Center.
   Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at United Church of Christ in New Ulm with burial to follow in the City Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4 - 7 p.m. today at Firle Funeral Home in New Ulm, and continues one hour prior to services at the church. Orient Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star service will be held at 6:45 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   She is survived by her daughter, Roberta and her husband Dr. Charles Hintz of New Ulm; granddaughters, Sarah and her husband Dennis Bolcer of Maple Grove, Jennifer Hintz of Wabasso; and sister-in-law Ruth Beecher of Edina.
    She was preceded in death by her husbands; sister, Margaret Schmid and brother, Robert Schmid.
   She was born March 26, 1914, in Brown County to August and Jennie (Jorgenson) Schmid. She grew up in New Ulm and graduated from New Ulm High School. After high school, she worked for the Eagle Roller Mill for a time. She married Sherburn Beecher in October 1938 in New Ulm. Following his death in 1957 she lived in New Ulm where she worked for State Bond and Mortgage Company. She married Lorenz Vandrey in October 1973 in New Ulm. He died in 1985. She was a member of the United Church of Christ in New Ulm and the church circle; a 50-year member of Orient Chapter No. 60 Order of the Eastern Star, and a 60-year member of P.E.O.

   Mary Heck, 82, formerly of New Ulm died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at St. Peter Community Hospital in St. Peter.
    Arrangements are pending with Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Gail Grunig, 45, of Bingham Lake died Aug. 4, 1999 of injuries received in a two-car accident in Phoenix, Ariz. Gail's daughter Bethanie was injured in the accident and is recovering at Mali Copa Medical Center in Phoenix.
   Gail is survived by her husband Farley and children Brad and Bethanie, all of Bingham Lake; and her parents Darrell and Arlene liesenfeld of Springfield.
   A service of remembrance will be held when the family is able to return home.
   Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield is handling local arrangements.

   Reuben Ziegenhagen, 85 of Morgan died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999 at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan.
   Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Morgan with burial in the Zion Eden Lutheran Cemetery in Eden Township.
   Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Nelson Funeral Home of Morgan handled the arrangements.
   He is survived by a nephew, John Garrioch and two grand- nephews, John and Matt Garrioch and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Alton and sister Dorothy Garrioch.
   He was born April 25, 1914 in Morgan to Richard and Minnie (Loose) Ziegenhagen. He graduated from Morgan High School. He worked for the Morgan Creamery and was a farm hand in the Morgan area and in North Dakota until retirement. He served in the Army Air Force Battalion in Burma from April 18, 1942 until February 2, 1946. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Morgan.
