   Mary Vivian Heck, 82, formerly of New Ulm, and a resident of Grandview Care Center in St. Peter, died Tuesday Aug. 10, 1999, at St. Peter Community Hospital.
   Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in the City Cemetery.
   Visitation is 4-8 today and will continue Friday from 7:30-10 a.m. at the funeral home. There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   She is survived by daughter and sons-in-law, Marlene and James Brown of St. Peter, Maxine and Harold Falk of Hanska, and Helen and Ronald Pabst of Bloomington; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Connie Heck of New Ulm and Edwin and Jeanette Heck of Bloomington; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in -law, Gilbert and Sue Weir of Blaine.
   She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin "Eddie" Heck on June 8, 1997, sister, Olive Benson; granddaughter, Shelly Pabst; and a great-grandson, Adam Heck.
   She was born March 3, 1917 in South Elgin, Ill., to Martin and Florence (Lumby) Weir. She attended St. Mary's Catholic School in New Ulm. She married Edwin Heck on May 18, 1936 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. They lived in New Ulm where she was a homemaker. They moved to Lake Jefferson in 1975. She became a resident of Grandview Care Center in St. Peter in June 1997. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.

   Anita H. K. Luebke, 92, of Riverside, Calif., and formerly of New Ulm died Sunday, Aug. 8, 1999 at Community Care Rehabilitation Center in Riverside, California.
   Graveside service is 10 a.m. Monday at the Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.

   Earl Kruger, 80, of Sleepy Eye, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at the Sleepy Eye Hospital.
   Arrangements are pending with Sturm Funeral Home, Sleepy Eye.

   Cora Markeson, 90, of St. James and formerly of LaSalle, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at the St. James Health Services Hospital.
   Arrangements are pending with Pease Funeral Home in St. James.

   Malvina 'Mollie' Garman, 89, of Princeton and formerly of Morton, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at the Elim Home in Princeton.
    Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Morton with burial in the city cemetery.
   Visitation is 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Nelson Funeral Home of Redwood Falls handled arrangements.

   Donald Bartz, 70, of Isle and formerly of rural Morton, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital
   Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Nelson Funeral Home, Redwood Falls, with burial in the city cemetery.
   Visitation is noon until time of services at the Nelson Funeral Home.
