Johnson, 85, of Sleepy Eye died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999 in Sleepy Eye.    Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye.    Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.    She is survived by brothers, Christ and wife Violet Johnson of Buffalo Lake, Wilbert Johnson of Sleepy Eye, and Lester and wife Marian Johnson of Sleepy Eye; a sister Eleanor Buche of Sleepy Eye; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.    She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Hazel Johnson, Verna Groff, Mary Johnson and Verdina Johnson; brothers-in-law Halvor Groff and Lavern Buche; and three brothers in infancy.    Mathilda grew up in Prairieville Township and attended country school. She continued to work on the family farm following her schooling, and has lived on that farm her entire life.    For a period of time, she had also worked at Del Monte in Sleepy Eye, Tony Downs Foods in St. James and Haas Press, which later became AUI in Sleepy Eye until her retirement.    She was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church.    Elsie Fering Alvine, 99, of Blue Earth and formerly of Lamberton, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999 at St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth.    Services will be 11 a.m.. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton with burial in the Lamberton Cemetery.    Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at Our Savior's.    Arrangements are being handled by the Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.    A complete obituary will run in The Journal on Monday.    Elroy R. Wolle, 85, of Gaylord, died Sunday, Aug. 15, 1999 at Immanuel St. Joseph Hospital in Mankato.    Arrangements are pending with Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.
