   Gordon H. Mehlhop, 71, of Green Isle died Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
   Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Green Isle. Burial with military honors will be in the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Green Isle.
   Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and one hour prior to the service at the church. Fenske Funeral Home of Arlington is handling the arrangements.
   He is survived by his wife; brothers and sisters-in-law: Hillard and Viola Mehlhop of Ortonville, Victor and Georgia Mehlhop of Fort Wayne, Ind., Donald and Faye Mehlhop of Green Isle; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Inwz Koester of Green Isle, Elmer (Sonny) and Eunice Howe of Hutchinson, Bob and Ellen Fratzke of Hutchinson; nieces and nephews.
   He was preceeded in death by his parents and sister Orma Mehlhop.
   He was born July 19, 1928 in Green Isle to William J. and Mathilda (Gruenhagen) Mehlhop. He attended eight years of school in Green Isle and one year in Glencoe. He married Caroline Howe Feb. 6, 1956 in Green Isle. He served in the millitary during the Korean conflict. He worked for the Minnesota Highway Department in the Green Isle area for over 30 years, retiring in the late 1980's. He was a member of the Green Isle Legion Post #408 and the Green Isle Baseball Association. He was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a former volunteer for the Green Isle Fire Department.

   Margaret M. Troske, 92, of Seaforth died Tuesday, August 17, 1999 at the Wabasso Healthcare Center.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday with a prayer service at 5 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
   She is survived by her brother Albert Trost and several nieces and nephews.
   She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Barbara Shemon, Theresa Shemon, Angeline Mashek and two brothers: George and Joseph Trost.
   She was born Jan. 16, 1907 in Sheridan Twp, Redwood County to George and Theresa (Brey) Trost. She grew up near Seaforth and attended country school.
   She married Joseph D. Troske on June 3, 1930. She lived in Seaforth her entire life until becoming a resident at the Wabasso Healthcare Center in 1994.

   Harold B. Kiecker, 84, of Fairfax, died Monday, August 16, 1999 at the Fairfax Community Home.
   Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Wellington Township, Renville County with burial in the church cemetery.
   Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30-8:30 Friday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
   He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
   He was preceeded in death by his parents; sisters Hatie, Elsie and Ester, and brothers John, Ernest and Kenneth.
   He was born Aug. 18, 1914 in Wellington Township, Renville County, to Otto W. and Mary (Luedtke) Kiecker. He grew up in Wellington Township where he attended Emanuel Lutheran School. He resided in Wellington Township where he farmed all of his working life. After his retirement he continued living on his farm until 1996 when he moved into the Country View Estates in Fairfax. He was a lifetime member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Wellinton Township.
