Victor Turbes, age 83, of Delano, formerly of Springfield, died Friday, August 27, 2004 at the Delano Health Care Center. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 10:30 AM at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield with burial in the church cemetery. The Clergy will be Father Dennis Labat. Victor was born on March 30, 1921 in Brookville Township, Redwood County, MN, the son of Hubert and Mary (Grausam) Turbes. He married Doris Macht of August 21, 1954 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. Victor was a lifetime farmer in the Springfield area. The couple had lived in Maple Plain for the last 18 years. He was a long time member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. Survivors include his wife Doris of Orono, MN, three daughters, Susan Turbes of Eden Prairie, MN, Contance Besse of Lake Worth, FL, and Kathryn (Don) Bosch of Plymouth, MN, one son, Steven Turbes of Lenvig, Denmark, three grandchildren, two brothers, Sylvester Turbes of Sleepy Eye and James Turbes of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and one sister. Joan J. Wolter, 67, of Arlington, died on Friday, August 27, 2004, at the Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe. Services will be 2 p.m Tuesday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Arlington, with burial in the Arlington Public Cemetery. Visitation 4 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington and Tuesday, one hour prior to service at the church. She is survived by her sons, Randy Wolter of Arlington and Robert Wolter of Arlington, daughter, Susan Wolter of LeSueur, a granddaughter, sister, Inez Pagel of Winthrop, and brother, Edgar Bulau of O'Neil, Neb. She was born Nov. 25, 1936, in Bismark Township, Sibley County, to Alfred and Eleanor (Perschau) Bulau. Clara Kolb, 90, of Fairfax, died Saturday, Aug. 28, 2004, in New Ulm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax, with burial in St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery in Cairo Township, Renville County. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue 7:30- 8:30 a.m. and one hour prior to services at the church, on Friday. She is survived by her sons, retired Maj. Maynard Kolb, of San Antonio, Texas, Robert Kolb of Wayzata, retired Chief Master Sgt. Francis Kolb, of Rapid City, S.D., Henry G. Kolb, of Sylvania, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
