   Dennis J. 'Denny' Tauer, 63, of 1027 N. Franklin, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2001, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
   Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery. Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm veterans organizations.
   Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today and 7:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. St. Joseph's Catholic Aid Council will pray the rosary at 6:30 p.m., and there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
   He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Barbie Tauer of Renton, Wash.; three grandchildren; sister, Jean Tauer of New Ulm; aunt, Elaine Keim of rural Hanska; and many cousins and friends.
   He was preceded in death by his parents.
   He was born Sept. 15, 1937, in New Ulm to John A. and Frances A. (Keim) Tauer. He graduated from Cathedral High School in New Ulm. He served in the National Guard. He worked for a few years at American Artstone in New Ulm, and he had been a part-time helper at Holy Trinity Middle School in New Ulm. He was a member of Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, St. Joseph's Catholic Aid Council and Seifert - Bianchi American Legion Post No. 132.

   Muriel Weber, 90, of 1119 N. German St., died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
