Winifred Andresen, age 94, of Edina, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2003. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at Mizpah United Church of Christ, 412 5th St., Hopkins, with burial at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements are with Morris Nilsen Chapel, 612-869-3226. Winifred is survived by her children, Marilyn A. (Jay) Marti of New Ulm, Jeffry J. (Amanda) Andresen, M.D., and Lynette Andresen grandchildren, John Marti, Jeffrey Marti, Debra McCormick, Mary Penner, Matthew Andresen, Katherine Robinson, Sonja Johnson, and Bjorn Johnson great-grandchildren, Melissa Goltz, Dana, Colton and Kelsey Marti, Jill and Amy McCormick, Sophia and Katherine Robinson, and Alex, Eric and Luke Andresen great-great grandchildren, Jordan and Kaylie Goltz brothers, Leonard and Walter Lindquist nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred. Eulalia 'Ukee' (Stueber) Krenz, 68, of 1804 North Payne St., New Ulm, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2003 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30-10:30 am. Monday, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The Christian Mother's Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Cathedral. The St. Elizabeth Catholic Aid Society will pray the rosary at 7 p.m. and there will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m., both Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to New Ulm Area Catholic Schools or the Americana Cancer Society. A complete obituary will appear in Saturday's edition of The Journal. Ella Redmann, 86, of Hutchinson, formerly of Stewart, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton with interment in Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Brownton. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at the Hantge Funeral Chapel in Brownton, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. She is survived by her children, Peter Redmann Jr., Darrel Redmann, Myron Redmann, Gary Redmann, Arvid Redmann, Luella Sondergaard, Leona Ahlbrecht, LaVonne Kuntz, Laverna (Lizbeth) Altman, and Linda Klitzke 24 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren. Ella Jeanette Redmann was born on June 2, 1917, in Penn Township, McLeod County to Richard and Lena (Ruest) Gerdes. Irene E. Wegner, 90, of Morgan, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2003, at Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at the Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls, with burial at Crestlawn Gardens in rural Redwood Falls. Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Irene is survived by her husband Leslie of Morgan. Irene E. Wegner was born Nov. 9, 1912, to Herman and Agnes (Hess) Lussenhop in Sherman Township, Redwood County.
